He may not have it all correct...but its the first time I’ve seen anything that has made sense on BSNBC.

THis guy is basically right about the nature of the problem but I'd appreciate him more if he'd acknowledge that there are politicians out there who've said the same thing and are trying to offer working solutions.

And none of them are Democrat.

On the other hand I know he can't say that on MSNBC.

He’s still a leftist schill, even if he is not quite as moronic as the rest of them. He keeps saying Republicans want to “burn the place down”, whatever that means, when, if he really has done the math, he must know that the Republicans are the only ones who proposed a bill that would have avoided a downgrade.

What Ratigan doesn’t get is that Obama is bought himself, and that he has been following a recipe for restructuring America that has been laid out by radicals of his own kind... some would argue that Obama is on track with his agenda...

They are getting it, but they have a long way to go.

They now realize that politicians are corrupt.
But now, what to do about it?
Maybe at the right time someone will suggest that the silver bullet is the constitution as originally intended.

the door is WIDE OPEN for a third-party populist candidate who wishes to rerun the William Jennings Bryan campaigns and just blast away at bankers.

“He’s still a leftist schill, even if he is not quite as moronic as the rest of them.”

Listen to his rant more carefully. He’s WAY more moronic. He essentially wants Obama to declare himself dictator and do what he thinks needs doing, such as creating a (government-run) “infrastructure bank” bankrolled from assets SEIZED by the government and lending at 2%. This would be crony capitalism on steroids, since a government-run bank obviously is going to use political criteria to decide who is worthy of its 2% loans (seriously, how does a government-run lending bank make any more sense than Government Motors?).

He is right that Congress is bought and sold, but the solution to that is to VASTLY decrease the size of government. If it didn’t have its hand in so many honeypots, it wouldn’t be worth anyone’s time to try and corrupt it through massive campaign contributions etc. Instead, Ratigan obviously thinks the solution to this problem is government funding of political campaigns! Which, as we all know, would sharply tilt the electoral playing field in favor of Dems who can rely on labor to make massive “in-kind” contributions to campaigns in the form of using their members to carry out activities (get-out-the-vote etc.) that political parties otherwise would have to spend money on.

Moronic is a very diplomatic way of characterizing Mr. Ratigan’s views.

“Listen to his rant more carefully. He’s WAY more moronic.”

You’re right, I didn’t listen very carefully. Once I realized he was pushing the same old lefist lies, I just turned it off, so I didn’t stick around to hear his “solutions”.
