WTF!!!! How far gone is that?
They think that the ALL TIME prototypical statesman, diplomat, leader and writer in the Western Hemisphere did not exist!!!???
It is all about worldview—ideas.
Too many people think that all their children need is healthy food and exercise. They ignore the ideas that are being pumped into their heads 24/7.
Their little brains soak up everything in the first 7 years of life—everything. If behavior of hitting their mother is seen—it becomes ingrained in them. Behaviors are habituated and internalized in those years...sexual identity stays open until 12 or first experience with sex. Behavior determines what you think and how you think. Morality is formed in early life and if not, it rots the culture from inside (Gramsci/Marcuse/Dewey, etc. cultural Marxists introduced PC and separation of Church and State to destroy morality being taught in the schools.) McGuffey Readers taught to respect God and all his creations—all people because they were the children of God. That ended in the 1930’s. Since then, Holmes destroyed the Rule of Law—his separation from morality from law—Legal Positivism which is no longer “Just Law” (Cicero).
Long March (through our Institutions) Roger Kimbal (sp?) chronicles the steps the Marxists took to destroy the universities, the public schools, marriage contracts—all aspects of the legal system.
Now, the idea of God and exposure to role models like George Washington and Lincoln and Wilberforce —all great people started being vilified by leftists in 1913—Beard and Carl Becker-—All Quiet on the Western Front-—to destroy those ideas of Honor, Duty, Courage and Virtue. It was steered by the German Philosophy of the 19th century—Intentionally—to transform Western Civilization from Christianity to atheism.
It is really simple to understand. Christianity was a universal religion which gave importance to all human beings—even the unborn and the old and feeble and the lepers. At its basis is self-sacrifice. It teaches the Truth—that this life is hard, but do good and work hard and your rewards will be great, if not in this life then in the next life. It is the reason we have had Churchill, Bonhoeffer, Lincoln, Newton, Solzhenitsyn, Dante, Bach, Reagan, Thatcher, Lord Acton and JF Kennedy. Not people of perfection, but people who will stand up to great evils and not allow them—even lose their life because of that stand.
Communism loathes those who thwart their ideas and socialists want control over every thought and action—They want serfdom because they want the power to eliminate those who they deem are unworthy of life. They want an unpolluted playground, just for themselves and their families. They want to be able to use all others for their own wicked pleasures. They are truly evil.
