Thanks for a great laugh. I went to the video and noted the link to SarahPac, so I visited the site to see if I could find the itinerary. If she visits Dixon, IL (Reagan’s home town) I want to know because it’s only 35 miles from here. Hopefully, I may make it to the event.
Anyway, I’m looking around the site, and in the white panel at the right is her recent Facebook statement on the downgrade, below which are some photos of her Facebook friends. The very first one at top-left is one of my best buddies from Florida. And next to her (3rd in the top row) is our own “chicagolady”. That made my day!
Indeed. It tugs at the heartstrings of those who so deeply love this country.
Well if he really wants to start a riot (and he does) bussing a bunch of Orcs into the Shire will likely get him one.

I think Lincoln did what Washington would have done. Hell, Washington personally led troop into PA to put down the Whiskey Rebellion (Hamilton rode along with him.) People need to understand the awesome centralized power created by the Constitution. We had a small, weak central government, but they ditched it. The one we got is NOT weak. It is supreme, and it definitely has ultimate power over the states.
My folks never did think a whole lot of Lincoln; although they didn’t teach me animosity against him. - Daddy once said that “Lincoln could have avoided that war if he had wanted to; slavery was on its way out anyway, and the South had a right to secede if they wanted to.” The two sides would have most likely come back together anyway soon after a secession.
His ancestors (not too far back either) had lived through reconstruction; and Lincoln had taken huge liberties with the Constitution, setting many precedents that give me chills when I consider what we’re facing now. I do not feel that Obama is above using any of them. - He is busy, busy ratcheting up the rhetoric to keep factions fighting each other. If he loses in 2012, I think he is not above using his almost 100% black “base” to accomplish what he wants. (I am not even sure he knows what HE wants; just a privileged puppet for the most part.)

They can’t believe she is still coming, still going strong. She can’t be stopped, she can’t be reasoned with. She is here, she’s clear so they need to get use to it.
