“...TAKE the picture when Obama was in full salute not half ass almost full and why is the military..”

A friend of mine who is a Vet says his salutes are perhaps the worse of any president. Obama displays his disdain for our military in obvious ways sometimes, other times more subtlety, like with his half ass ‘salutes’. Let's not forget his 'slip up' using the term 'Navy Corpsman'. He is a belligerent left-wing twerp.

This story gets curiouser and curiouser. First, the WH photographer is the only one allowed at the scene to take pictures. The Pentagon wasn't even allowed to have a photographer on site. ONLY Obama’s photographer could stage (OOPS) I mean ‘take’ a picture of his presence there. AND they immediately posted it as “Photo of the Day” on the WH website. (Note: notice the story states "caskets" not transfer cases that were supposedly used based on the condition of the remains.)

“...An official White House photo of a saluting Obama was distributed to news media and published widely. It also was posted on the White House website as the “Photo of the Day.” It showed Obama and other officials in silhouette and did not depict caskets.

Doug Wilson, head of public affairs at the Pentagon, said the department did not know the White House photographer was present and had no idea a photo of the event was being released until it became public. He said the photographers who routinely travel with the defense secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were not allowed to go to the event, and no official Pentagon photos were taken or released...”

I have a question and I'm not trying to be offensive or disrespect the deceased. But, according to news stories, the remains of these men were sent back on two transports. If the copter burnt up along with everyone inside, why are there transfer cases at all right now? Have they DNA’d the remains to determine who was on that copter? Plus, aren't they allegedly still investigating the crash? Wouldn’t that investigation include the remains of those on board? It seems an awfully quick turnaround to be able to conduct a thorough investigation of the conditions and cause of that downed copter.

Yet there Obama was, a few days past the loss of these troops appearing for his photo op.

“What happened on night of deadly Afghanistan helicopter crash?

“...ISAF says insurgents had been using RPGs during the initial engagement and that the helicopter had been fired on, but still refers to the incident as a crash.

“While it has not been determined if enemy fire was the sole reason for the helicopter crash, it did take fire from several insurgent locations on its approach,” ISAF said.

While it is not unusual for rocket-propelled grenades — normally an anti-tank weapon — to hit helicopters, it is extremely rare for them to actually bring one down...”
