Would have been better had the Unions Corps donated the 14 Mil to schools.
Anyone know how much Union Corps give to charity or school districts?
Must be many charts. /sarc

The current split in the Senate is, 19R-14D so they would need to sweep to get control. They may pick up a couple but not the chamber.

(*sigh*) I wish! But if the R's lose 3, the D's gain 3, which would yield: 16R-17D, which flips the Senate.
I'm not hitting any panic buttons, yet; things could turn out quite well (especially when we factor in the 3 Dem recalls, coming up)... but I'll definitely be glad when this is over!

Recall elections won't affect union bargaining But a new Senate could take on health care, vouchers

No, they passed voter id, but it won’t take effect until 2012.... Repubs should have insisted it go into effect this year.

especially when we factor in the 3 Dem recalls, coming up Unfortunately one of the RATs recall election took place approx 3 weeks ago, and he won 2/3 to 1/3... overwhelming. That was very unfortunate that the voters rewarded this RAT for fleeing the state.
The remaining 2 RATs recall elections are for next week, and there is virtually no publicity regarding these. Whatever happens today, I hope the WI GOP & TEA Parties put a full court press on for next week to oust the 2 RATs.
Bottom line is, we need a miracle today to retain our GOP majority in the Senate, AND we need a miracle to oust the 2 RATS in next week's election and show a strong signal that the RATs need to obey the legislative rules as well, and not skip out of town when they throw their hissy fits.

This is the first of the recall elections. The next one is next week. The previous election you were referring to was a primary election. The Republicans ran some candidates as “fake democrats” to try to make them spend some money to defend. It was not the recall election.

What do you mean by the 3 Dem recalls "coming up"? Aren't they occurring at the same time? If not, why not? And when would they take place?

I imagine either 8pm EDT [7pm CDT local time] or 9pm EDT [8pm CDT local time].
I imagine the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will report this, so I need to check their site for sure...

The
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is posting readers to check back after 8pm [CDT -- 9pm EDT] for election results.
So I imagine the polls don't close until 9pm EDT.
Most of the results were in by midnight EDT to 1am EDT in the earlier elections in July... So there should not be much of a wait.
Governor Walker, meanwhile, has signed a re-districting law today...

....Sen. Dave Hansen (D-Green Bay) was the first to face a recall election, and he easily survived the challenge last month.
Attention now turns to next week's recall elections, against Democratic Sens. Jim Holperin of Conover and Bob Wirch of Pleasant Prairie.
