The current split in the Senate is, 19R-14D so they would need to sweep to get control. They may pick up a couple but not the chamber.

(*sigh*) I wish! But if the R's lose 3, the D's gain 3, which would yield: 16R-17D, which flips the Senate.

I'm not hitting any panic buttons, yet; things could turn out quite well (especially when we factor in the 3 Dem recalls, coming up)... but I'll definitely be glad when this is over!

Unfortunately one of the RATs recall election took place approx 3 weeks ago, and he won 2/3 to 1/3... overwhelming. That was very unfortunate that the voters rewarded this RAT for fleeing the state.

The remaining 2 RATs recall elections are for next week, and there is virtually no publicity regarding these. Whatever happens today, I hope the WI GOP & TEA Parties put a full court press on for next week to oust the 2 RATs.

Bottom line is, we need a miracle today to retain our GOP majority in the Senate, AND we need a miracle to oust the 2 RATS in next week's election and show a strong signal that the RATs need to obey the legislative rules as well, and not skip out of town when they throw their hissy fits.

What do you mean by the 3 Dem recalls "coming up"? Aren't they occurring at the same time? If not, why not? And when would they take place?
