The Yobs are ‘rich’ as well. They are using cell phones and cars as getaways. Not exactly poor.
I wonder how much their pecking order of society plays into this whole thing for the have nots? I had a friend who went to Harvard Business School and many of his classmates did not associate with him because they were Brits and he was from the wrong side of the tracks.
I would bet most of those small business owners are not rich. A lot of them did appear to be Middle Eastern, though. Perhaps they will reconsider making their homes in London.

This is the exact same problem with some apartment dwellers that think they are sticking it to the owner by trashing out the home where they live, damaging the equipment in the laundry room, etc.
They end up living in squalor while the owner lives in a nice home in another part of town, and still collects the same rent from them.
Aren’t we lucky though. Since England has such strict gun laws, nobody shot anybody while protecting themselves.
What’s rich? Someone who worked hard and now has more than you do because they earned it?
They’re just taking what the left has been telling them they’re entitled to. It’s the logic conclusion when you start calling theft an “entitlement”.

I was just reading of Ann Coulter’s new book “Demonic”, where she describes what the berserk mobs did in the French revolution. It was strikingly like what’s happening in Britain. It was a lot like L.A. or Detroit in the 60s but worse.

These riots are poor versus rich only to the extent that the members of the Third World want to speed up their conquest of a sick Western country. In more realistic times the present action by the Third World invaders would be called the start of the “Sack!”
