Yes I am amazed it is that high. They must be oversampling at welfare offices and wherever they free cell phones are handed out by 400%.

In my part of Ohio, Obama is doing just fine. If the election were today, he’d carry the blue northeast part.

Your part of Ohio reelected Dennis Kuchinich and put Sherrod Brown in the Senate. That's why the rest of us are trying to get Pennsylvania to take you. :)

Cleveland is the anchor that takes the rest of us down. (Funny, used to be Cleveland was the engine for this area).

Pennsylvania would never take us, far too many idiots around here. Heck, even my own brother is a rabid, foaming at the mouth Democrat drone.

I've noticed a pattern. Over the weekend and early in the week, Obama's numbers are worse and as the week progresses, his negative improves.

He usually starts out at a -20 or -21 and declines over the week to a -15. Does anyone know what is behind that dynamic?

Regarding the behavior of the polling within a given week.

The poll is a rolling three-day average. Even with averaging working to soften the swings, there are sample biases between during-the-week surveying and weekend sampling.

Mondays are the best for getting a wide swath of people to participate. Weekends are the worst. Other than that, there isn’t too much to worry about. -15 or -21, it’s all bad for Obama.

The day after you've read that we've successfully handed off Philadelphia to New Jersey, call us!
