He’s right. It is not rocket science. You create an environment where small business thrives. The polar opposite of what the administration has done

Everyone at the fundraiser should be embarrassed to have been there. How could anyone with half a brain support this moron. Apparently these idiots don’t have children and grandchildren, elderly parents, retirement portfolios and plummeting home values to worry about. And they certainly don’t care about their fellow Americans who are out of work. Their over-the-top, lock-step adoration for the first black president who isn’t even all black trumps everything else.

The pat answer of the elite academic.

It would be interesting to find out how many attended that fundraiser and paid $15,000 per head. Imagine if each one took that money, divided it in half, and instead gave $7,500 each directly to two unemployed people who are losing their homes, their cars, and unable to even buy food. These libs talk about being "caring and concerned" people...but how many of them would empty THEIR pockets to help someone directly, rather that say it is the government's job?

I know several people who have never, ever personally helped a struggling family directly, taken them food or clothing, paid their bills, etc. But they insist "we" should and want government entitlement program to handle the problems of the less fortunate. While those same people go on their merry way, not wanting to actually involve themselves with the less fortunate, and thinking that by supporting govt. handouts they are being charitable.

What a surprise they will get at their final judgment when they are reminded by God that charity is not the government's job, but the job of individuals on a one on one basis. And the politicians who have benefited from these enormous fund raisers, just so they can go to Washington and weild power and fill their own pockets, will face similar judgment also.

I think if a politician would take the stand that he wants everyone who supports him/her to use their political contributions to help needy people in their areas instead of for some campaign fund...that person would be elected to offic by both the donors and recipients. He/she would be elected based on the merit of their moral fiber and concern for people, rather than the size of their campaign coffers.

Maybe he hasn’t created any jobs, but that’s not the measure he told us to use. The correct measure is “created or saved”. And he’ll tell you that he’s saved millions of jobs. So if you still have a job you can thank Obama.

Obama, The Wisest Man Ever to Be President has already told us all how he thinks jobs are created: by public investment (that would be "government spending" to you and me) on infrastructure projects and by extending unemployment insurance payments (I think that would also be considered "spending", but then again, I didn't go to Harvard). And also: by extending the payroll tax cut. Well, that plan has certainly added back a few dollars into people's pockets each week (to be snatched back on April 15th, of course), but as to the evidence that it has created jobs?

I would suggest there's more empirical evidence supporting the existence of UFO's, one of which apparently left behind a tall, thin alien life form, based upon its cluelessness about what humans commonly understand and a lack of anyone who seems to recall him prior to about 1981.

RE :"“This is not rocket science in terms of how we can create more jobs in this country,” he said at a fundraiser where tickets cost $15,000 per family."

Well if Federal borrowing of $500K to give to State projects hiring one worker with it only paying $20K in taxes counts as with the stimulus, this is true. However define 'a job' as a new worker that pays more taxes than he costs the government and you got another story.
