I think this article is spot on. My heart breaks for the families of the fallen -

This am I watched the Today Show and the family of Aaron Vaughn was on - he was a Seal team member killed on Sat. The father had some pointed comments about the “sheep” in Washington who have said too much. It is well worth watching - the fathers commentary alludes to what is written in this article. Amazing family - so sorry for their loss...I feel touched to have even seen them speaking on tv.

here is the link - take a moment to watch

My heart is sick. Words cannot describe my disgust at this administration and those who support it.

I'm blessed with many true friends, however we all have a few associates/friends & one of these was proud that he voted for the kenyan. Yea, my disgust of him after seeing him probably 15 times since the election I finally told him last week that my disgust for him & others that voted for BO & that I did not want to see him again until there is a mea culpa. Did I get some justification today - yes. He bragged last week that he bought a bunch of Bank of America stock. Last I saw today it was down 17%.

I am so glad that I never bought that silly Bill O’Reilly T-shirt that had that slogan “SEALS 1 - Bin Laden 0”. The Taliban are just ROTFL.

People who gloat often have to eat their own words.

Maybe this is how Obama gets rid of Biden, and then announces Hillary Clinton as the VP

Zero would not do that as his life would not be worth used spit after she was sworn in.

If he is desperate to try to get re-elected, he will do anything he can.

Biden put these men and their families at risk just to show off about how much of an insider he is... what a jerk.

“Why were top level heroes sent on a routine
mission in a vulnerable chopper after giving out the
night vision equipment?

We've seen that the military will protect its reputed commander in chief. It is unlikely that they will explore command decisions, but this mission clearly raises many questions.

A series of articles by Ann Barnhardt, a cattle options dealer, lawyer, and conservative, presents a coherent case. http://barnhardt.biz/ Among the excellent questions are why a national guard Chinook, when the Chinooks used by special forces are armed and armoured, and why not the Special Forces Pilots? Why are so many highly specialized troops are being carried in one vehicle?

Jimmy Carter oversaw a tragic attempt to free our citizens at the Iranian Embassy. The planning was flawed, but the mission was well-intentioned. That mission failed because of sand. Why, when combatents in Afganistan have used shoulder-fired missles on many occassions, would a combat mission in such a big, slow, bulky, low-flying target, use an unarmored helicopter when armored copters were reportedtly sitting idly nearby? That sounds like a suicide mission. These troops know how to plan and fight. Every second in the air must be nervewracking. Having served in an antiaircraft battery, I always thought about how helpless my targets must have felt, as they must have known I might be tracking them and "locked on." That is the issue which fails the smell test.

There are legitimate questions about even naming the previously secret combat group presumable involved in the killing of bin-Laden, raising the question of whether this could have been a political sacrifice (bin-Laden's burial at sea was curious, and certainly not a Muslim practice unless the Muslim was a Barbary pirate). Supporters of Obama clearly plotted and acted to endanger our soldiers in Viet Nam (Ayers and company) and Iraq (Code Pink). (Learn who these people are in Stanley Kurtz' or David Horowitz' books, both dealing with our resident Marxist/Stalinist/Maoists.)

Lots of questions are legitimate, because there are conspiracies, as politically incorrect as the media have convinced many that these events are. A conspiracy is a planned political event. There should be a congressional investigation. There are too many quesitons. People who put their lives at risk to protect us must have confidence that they are not pawns in political struggles.

You got it! Bite-me Biden strikes again, pretty much everytime he opens his mouth. At least with Bite-me, we can laugh at his stupidity & bumbling incompetence, although with the death of 30 SEALS in this instance that is no joking matter. And it is a tragic day for Amerika every day with 0dumb0, we can’t laugh him off at all since he is pure evil and hates America & wants to destroy it and then re-create in his own purely evil ways.

What was NATOs and Obama’s role in the distribution of night vision to the Islamic enemy?

We've been arming Pakistan and Afghanistan with NVGs for ten years. So, plenty. We also tolerate a large amount of theft by our allies of our supply lines, where NVGs turn up missing.

Why were top level heroes sent on a routine mission in a vulnerable chopper after giving out the night vision equipment?

Because it's what we've been doing for ten years. We lose people every day to these tactics. It was just a matter of time before we lost enough in one day for most people to notice.

If you guys are just now getting around to getting angry, well, better late than never, I guess.

In light of current reports it looks like this could have been a Taliban Trap. I use the conditional because it is not unknown for a success to be claimed for planning when it is actually serendipitous.

We may never know but no matter what we have lost too many HEROS in this single action. May God Bless them all and their families and friends!
