During his interview with Obama 2012 campaign strategist David Axelrod, "Face the Nation" host Bob Schieffer played a clip of President Obama talking with NBC's Matt Lauer a few weeks after he took office. Here's what a newly inaugurated President Obama said:
PRESIDENT OBAMA: that's exactly right. And and, you know, a year from now I think people are gonna see that we're starting to make some progress. But there's still gonna be some pain out there. If I don't have this done in three years, then there's gonna be a one-term proposition.
Schieffer, reminding Axelrod that we are nearing that three-year point, asks if President Obama will be a one-term president like he said. Here is how the exchange went:
SCHIEFFER: So there you are Mr. Axelrod. That was the President at the start [of his term]. We're getting right up to that three year point. Is this going to be a one-term presidency?
AXELROD: I think the question is -- what this election is ... First of All, let's certify that. We're in a different place than where we were than the day he did that interview --
SCHIEFFER: Well, we are. Things are worse than they were.

Ian, is that you? If so, miss ya.
OT, check this out:
That actually made me laugh. Axelrod is ‘good’, LOL!
In that; Progress is defined as movement toward a goal. I'd like to see someone in the media define what "progress" they think has been made by this administration.
They're not just worse for Republicans or us Tea Party Hobbits.
They're worse for you, Mr. Schieffer. And for your children and grandchildren.
And you know what? They're not getting any better.
Your guy, Obama, who you supported and promoted, whose eligibility, credibility and capability you and your colleagues accepted without investigation, and whose illigitimacy you pooh-poohed, is responsible.
Not President Bush. Not the Republican Party. Not the Tea Party. Obama is responsible!
You are responsible also, Mr. Schieffer. And your grandchildren will someday ask "Why didn't you tell us the truth about Obama?"
funny!
Must’ve been difficult for Schieffer to ask a question like this. He’s been a reliable apologist for the Donks for decades.
His question was only a segway to give brokenaxelrod the opening for more lib spin.
If nobama is re-elected, there will be no doubt the vote was rigged and the USA is gone.
I all along predict America will prevail, nobama and the progressives will fall in the ditch.
Uh oh, the Obammunists could be in serious trouble: that old communist Bob Schieffer actually asked Axelrod a tough question!
You got to love it, recall that I made a big point of when NBC/MTP David Gregory pointed out to an Obama-official how everything, employment, gas prices and the national debt have got worse under Obama. Now Schieffer jumps in.
They (MSM) still dont like the Tea party and like to beat on them, but it's hard to blame them for everything and not be laughed at.
Interesting
Interesting
He almost got us “done for” in 3 years.
At one point as Axe was ranting and raving-—Scheiffer was heard to say, “We’re getting the same old responses.”
Luce wrote: "At a crucial stage in the 2007 Democratic primaries, Obama rejuvenated his campaign with a barnstorming speech, which ended on a promise of what his victory would produce: "A nation healed. A world repaired. An America that believes again."
Just over a year into his tenure, America's 44th president governs a bitterly divided nation, a world increasingly hard to manage and an America that seems more disillusioned than ever with Washington's ways. What went wrong? "
" I told Daley to kneecap Geithner if he don't shut up."
Remember (just recently) when Democrats claimed it was the president solely responsible for deficits and deficit reduction ala 1995-1998 (Clinton) and 2007-2008 (Bush) when they had a opposite party congress who was irrelevant? But today the Obama administration apparently is arguing that the Tea party runs the country and Obama is irrelevant as POTUS and bears no responsibility for all the bad news.
First it was Bush, then it was Rush, then it was FNC, now it's The Tea Party.
The audacity and arrogance of the Obama administration was once again on full display when Senior White House Adviser David Axelrod appeared on NBCs Meet The Press responding to questions surrounding Congressional use of the Slaughter Solution to pass healthcare reform.
Explaining why Democrats shouldnt follow Constitutional laws Axelrod justified their actions, The one thing I am sure of is that the American people dont know or care much about the sequencing of parliamentary procedures.
Axelrod is far from the first administration official to share his elitist attitude over the American people, but he is the latest to demonstrate the precise level of ignorance the administration feels American citizens hold.
In the eyes of the Obama administration, theyre passing legislation you need but dont understand because you lack the education or ability to comprehend it. Their arrogance blinds them from seeing that the American people do understand. Thats why were against their agenda! (Excerpt) Read more at newsrealblog.com ...
I got a neighbor-friend who I school on this stuff and he actually told me that voters should not oppose Obama-care (before it was passed) because they have not read the entire bill, when Democrats were keeping the bill secret and Pelosi said we couldnt know what's in it until after its passes, as with her own members of congress.
Where do I start with that logic?
In a word-——hopeless.
