WASHINGTON (AP) A top White House adviser is blaming the downgrade of the U.S. credit rating on tea party Republicans, whom he says were unwilling to compromise on how to reduce the federal debt.
The adviser to President Barack Obama, David Axelrod, tells CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday ..
...

Put another way, the final Obama-Boehner bill got 95% of the watered down Boehner bill that he pushed on House Republicans to vote for that Friday afternoon, which is now what he is calling 100% of what Republicans wanted. Rush warned that Democrats would treat that bill as the ‘Republicans starting point in negotiations’, but it turned out that it was Boehner that would do that against House conservatives.
Fail!
Right. All this is coming from the one of the same guys who said the porkulus would work. I think he’s spent whatever political capital he ever had on that big stinker.
lol!!!!
TALK ABOUT AN ACT OF DESPERATION : )
If you had an unlimited number of Democrats typing randomly at an unlimited number of keyboards, sooner or later one would type the words “A Budget Can Be Balanced By Spending Cuts”
TUMP HAS TOLD THE TRUTH ALL THE WAY DOWN THE LINE.....BONER, ON THE OTHER HAND, SOLD US OUT AT THE 19TH HOLE FOR A BOTTLE OF SCOTCH.
does he mean the American taxpayers/voters who are taxed enough already and are finally speaking up?
when will this bunch of hoods grow up and start taking responsibility???
Axelrod makes me ill just to look at him...scary
TheLeading Wing of the Democrats are the TEAT Party, while the GOP is shaped by the forces of the TEA Party.
One is GREAT for the Country the other is good at parasitically sucking for all they can get out of the System.
Trial Ballon. All it takes is for our side to stay on message, and it won't work. The TEA Party were/are the ones that said cut spending - the same thing everyone one else (except democrats) are saying. The dems are clueless - and now engaging in scorched earth.
“CBS and the NYT has a poll out that says that public support for the TEA Party has been cut in half since the debt deal.”
Hey, I like myself as much now as I did before the “obammy debt deal”. But, then, they never ask me.....
“Until that changes, it will be the same old story.”
Which brings us back to the obvious. How the hell do WE change things? The only thing I can think of, is hound the HELL out of every registered Republican, come 2012. We are all we have. Sarah is the only person in our party who is strong/gutsy enough to put the obammy media whores in their place. If she throws her hat into the ring, we, I mean each and every one of us, have to get off our collective asses and FIGHT!!! This is war. We define it on our terms. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!!! And, the first media slut that sticks a microphone in my face, will damn well regret it.
“Im going to work my butt off to make sure this lying liberals go down to such a massive defeat it will make 2010 look like just a minor landslide!”
Count me in. I thought I worked hard in 2010. Damn those frigging torpedoes, FULL speed ahead!!!!!!
“Axelrod makes me ill just to look at him...scary”
Hey, axelfraud - you look like you ben whooped wid a ugly stick....
I ain’ got nuthin’ tah do widdit, but I beleee da fella’s right.
Another Chicago red heard from, and ignored.
Still stuck on stupid, eh David?
He can NEVER be forgiven is insipid appeasement.
Some freeper sent me an email saying the same thing two days ago. Called himself a conservative...which of course i pushed back on. Troll.
"You're always shifting the blame. Shift, shift shift, that's all you do!"
The TEA Party didn’t run up the debt. They were the only ones fighting against more debt.
