“And until, We the People realize that again, we deserve the tyranny we get.”

This is absolutely false. Our liberty is God-given.

You cite the Constitution, as you should. But notice the Constitution doesn’t say we “deserve” tyranny in any circumstance.

God gave us liberty, but we have squandered that gift. With that gift came all the tools we would ever need to care for that gift. One of those tools was proclaimed in the first three words of the Declaration of Independence. The repository of Liberty is with the People, if they so choose to accept one of God’s greatest gifts...

All through the Bible are stories and parables of gifts given by God. Gifts that were neglected overtime and abused. Those who proved ungrateful were brought low and humbled. Israel was brought low, Hebrews were made slaves. There are consequences to rejecting God’s gifts. Trials, tribulations and yes, even tyranny.

If we chose to ignore that responsibility, we do very much deserve the tyranny we get.
