Mosque teacher hit pupils ( UK )
The Asian News ^ | August 05, 2011 | Andy Bellard

A mosque teacher assaulted four pupils, including one with learning difficulties, with a two-foot long pipe because they were misbehaving in class.

A court heard the Accrington mosque had a written policy which urged staff to make sure the welfare of children was paramount and calling for them to be protected from abuse.

Married father-of-eight Ibrahim Yusuf, 52, of Preston New Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to four charges of assault. He was bailed for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Philippa White, prosecuting, said part of the incident at the Grimshaw Street mosque had been captured on CCTV, which showed Yusuf striking two of the boys, aged 11.

She said the boys’ teacher left them alone and there was some ‘minor misbehaviour.’ The defendant was teaching in another part of the mosque and saw and heard what was going on,” said Mrs White.

“He came over carrying a thin, flexible pole. As he walked among the children he hit four of them with the stick.”

She said one was hit on the arm and another on the lower back.

One boy was clearly upset when his mum collected him at 7pm and he had a red mark on his back.

When he was interviewed by police Yusuf said he had gone over to control the children and accepted he had a piece of plastic overflow pipe in his hand which he used as a “teaching aid”.

In Catholic schools they used a ruler. But I guess that was then and this is now. (I’m thinking of the nun in The Blues Brothers)

Glory, glory hallelujah
Teacher hit me with a ruler
Shot her with a .44 and she fell to the floor
And she ain't our teacher no more

The mosque chairman Mr Sardar Ali defended Yusuf, insisting he was “the best teacher at the mosque”.

He must be. They were not beheaded at least.

Although I was home schooled I had several friends who attended Catholic schools and yep, right across the knuckles.

Laughed myself silly over that scene. The woman who played the penguin was great! I remember watching old TV shows of Hogans Hero’s with my folks and she showed up a time or two as the general’s daughter always after Col. Klink.

They were excellent at honing in on the guilty parties, too. None of that zero tolerace nonsense where everyone involved is guilty.

I was walking in the hall of my Catholic school as a child and three boys walked up behind another nerdy boy and knocked his books out of his hand and onto the floor. A nun swooped in from nowhere and...those bullies were dead meat. They were scrubbing the hallways on their hands and knees next time I saw them.

It was the expectation that children passing by would stop and help the victim get his stuff organized and help him on his way, too. We were supposed to be kind and helpful to one another and especially to those weaker than ourselves. The nuns who were teachers were kind in helping the children, too. I had one who came to our house to help my sister with math. She was really nice and funny, too.

All this child abuse stuff - I can not imagine any of that happening in secret in that school...but who knows. I doubt it...who knows. By the time I was older, the leftists had taken over the parish we were in and it turned into an amoral radical feminist trash heap. I left the church. I did not want to “change” with all that.

“a flexible piece of overflow pipe he said he used as a
“teaching aid”.....
Hmmmm, I guess if he poured molten wax in their ears,
and threw a cup of diluted acid in their eyes, those would qualify as “audio-visual aids”. Gotta love the Muzzies.
Much more behavior like this “in loco parentis” and they’ll
gradually lose the “hearts and minds” battle they need to create Sharia among their own people.

The stories my dad and grand dad told me about when they were in school were a great learning tool. I was home schooled simply because they didn’t want me to be in the current environment. I read about what was going on in public schools and was grateful for being taught by my mom, dad, two brothers and an uncle. The male side of my family were all military and my mom was a military brat. I don’t think I would have lasted two days in today’s public school environment.

Catholic school? There were sixty three kids in my first grade class. When Sister Mary Paul was in the room you could hear a pin drop. When she left the room it was almost as quiet.
