Anyone who live through the early 50's remembers well the "Better Red than Dead" slogan.

Um, the slogan was Better DEAD than RED. Not surprising that you got it backwards.

Just a few places where I was accurate, Not to mention it was different in many places. I lived in Oklahoma and sad to say there were many Communists there, generated by the Unions, when they organized the Lead and Zinc mines, during WW II.
