Oh they still believe in polygamy
their basic tenet for exaltation and godhood of the mormon males is polygamy
they just said they would stop practicing it in order for Utah to become a state and for the US government to stop putting the Jeff types in prison and not confiscate their lands and property...
That happened in 1890
Romneys famiy and other mormon guys fled to Mexico to escape jail or pretended to stop having extra “wives”
The guy who made the 1890 “proclamation” and later prophets right up till about 1930 kept right on “marrying” new extra wives
D&C 132 was never done away with polygamy is still very much part of Mormon belief...
They all believe that their mormon jesus will reinstate polygamy when he returns to Missouri and that they will be polygamists on their own planet in their mormon afterlife...
