Story says that they’ve worked out a short-term compromise, but it doesn’t give any details.

And, Congress is away on vacation, so they’d have to figure out a way to get them to all come in back for a vote...

I read where it would be funded short-term to the end of the current fiscal year i.e. end of September.

The small airport subsidizes were removed by the House and the WH says they’ll just waive those rules.

The GOP “deals” and gets screwed again.

So, as usual, if BO doesn’t like a law he just ignores it.

Why this guy isn’t in jail is beyond me.

I think the house passed a stop gap bill, that included no funding for smaller airports that subsidize passengers, and no have FAA employees unionized.. and it would go till Sept 23, it was agreed upon I understand in the senate till boxer put the blitz to it.. and Reid just said to hell with it and left.. I called Barbies office and asked for her apologize to the Nation for lying and blaming this on the republicans when it was the dems in the senate that blocked the funding.. in the first place

Not true. Congress is NOT on vacation. Just members are not present. It is still gaveled into session each day (House stays in session so Obama can't recess appoint anyone). A unanimous consent can be ruled if one member requests it. If no objections - voila! A bill passes.
