This emotional, irrational response to the possible presence of a man with a gun has gone to the moonbat stage.

Shut down an entire campus for hours on the possibility that someone might have seen someone with a gun? Irrational and crazy.

I believe that the Virginal Attorney General just ruled that Virginia public universities could not legally prevent people who could legally carry a gun from carrying it on campus.

He issued an AG opinion, not a ruling. AG opinions do not have the force of law in Virginia. But then again, as far as I know there is no state LAW against possessing a gun on VT campus, merely a University Rule, which apparently DOES have the 'force of law' (at least for those who work or go to school at the university).

I live in Virginia and I am confused as to whether it is 'legal' to possess a gun on the campus of VT. I DO know that I possessed guns on campus when I attended Virginia Tech. I never even asked whether there was a rule against it or not.

Perhaps most surprisingly, in my 4 years as an undergraduate and through two years of graduate school I someone managed to AVOID having my guns cause me to go crazy and start shooting/killing people; nor did my guns take any overt actions by themselves to shoot/kill anyone. I know what you're thinking -- it's practically UNBELIEVABLE! I guess I was just one of the lucky ones...
