HR 1505 bypasses “environmental” laws to give our Border Patrol the tools to control our borders

It’s not likely you have heard of H.R. 1505, The National Security and Federal Lands Protection Act (NSFLPA) This outline of what’s in HR 1505 will tell you why the media is keeping a lid on this bill.

NSFLPA will free our Homeland Security Department Border Patrol agents from short sighted and phony environmental laws that keep our borders porous and uncontrollable. This “one eighty” in America’s approach to stemming the tide of illegal aliens sneaking into our country was introduced by Republican Congressman Rob Bishop of Utah.

To get the job done NSFLPA will wave enforcement of a litany of unnecessary and counterproductive liberal laws that have been destroying true conservation efforts for decades.

Under Bishop’s “get tough” bill the Department of Homeland Security’s work to protect our borders and coastlines within 100 miles of our borders would no longer be impeded by extraneous laws. In many states Border Patrols would be totally free to protect Americans from border to border.

Freeing DHS officers to pursue illegal aliens into protected wildlife and forest areas can be accomplished by suspending enforcement of these laws.

H.R. 1505 would provide waivers of these laws to get this job done.

Endangered Species Act of 1973,

Federal Water Pollution Control Act,

National Historic Preservation Act,

Migratory Bird Treaty Act

Clean Air Act,

the Archaeological Resources Protection Act

Safe Drinking Water Act,

Solid Waste Disposal Act,

Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980

This nonsense of letting illegal aliens play "You can't touch me" because they are in "protected areas" Has got to stop. It presupposes illegal aliens will do less damage to theseareas than Amerrica Border Patrol agents. = liberal nonsense!

All of those Acts should be outlawed anyway. It’s a complete waste of money. I’m amazed that this country got this far without all those laws. Our fathers and grandfathers must have been really smart.

Here is something similar that hasn’t been taken care of. On this military base classified documents are regularly taken to the burn facility when they need to be destroyed. But because of EPA regulations we can only burn so much per day. I would think that national security would trump CO2.

If you look at what cesspools and garbage dumps known human smuggling routes quickly turn into, you would expect the environmentalists would want them shut down if they truly cared about the environment rather than just leftist ideology.

A good shredder is as effective as burning. I'm not talking about an office supply store quarter inch confetti shredder. 20 years ago I saw some shredders that literally turned paper to dust. Each letter was probably split into a hundred pieces.

Would the base allow you to keep a goat or some rabbits as a “mascot”? They could turn those documents into fertilizer for you.

This is a fantastic law. I like it so much because it’s based on common sense, something that largely missing from Wash DC.

Unfortunately, I doubt this bill will pass the Senate. In the unlikely event it does, nobama for sure will veto it. Can’t do anything to prevent his voting base from expanding.

If a law is so stupid that the government needs to ignore it in order to enforce our borders, the law should be repealed. The government always should be forced to obey all the stupid laws that it requires its citizens to follow.
