Just as one fire involving a MSNBC contributor and their description of President Obama is finally put out, might a new one be starting? Today on Morning Joe, Mark Halperin returned to the show after his suspension for calling Obama a dick.Yet moments after Halperin completed his analysis of the debt deal, it was Pat Buchanans turn to address his fresh controversy.
Last night we questioned the terminology used by Buchanan in a debate with Al Sharpton, and Buchanan didnt waste any time attempting to set the record straight:
Let me clarify something that happened last night on the Al Sharpton show, a very spirited discussion. I was asked who was the big losers in these battles, and the big winners. And I said one of the big losers, using boxing terminology, was your boy and I meant the President of the United States. . . . This was taken some folks took what I said as some kind of slur none was meant, none was intended, none was delivered for the record.
Its likely this will be all Buchanan says regarding the incident, and seems like a sufficient enough explanation. Discussing winners and losers, and how Obama was Sharptons boy in the ring, Buchanans potential offense (unlike Halperins) was in the heat of the moment, unintentional and probably requires a leap to make it truly offensive. Yet with Buchanan and Halperin as frequent Morning Joe guests, and the shows loose format, it will be interesting to see if both men in the future refrain from even hinting at a name for Obama other than President.

Put 'em near a microphone and self-castration becomes all the rage with these eunuchs.
"It's a common phrase .. Get over yourself and deal with it .. Next question . . . "
It’s time to ban political correctness while we still have part of a country left.
To the contrary, Jerry Rivers said Rush used the racist term. Said he had never heard anyone but a black referred to as a “man child.”
Two comments:
1. PB is a jerk regardless of what he said this time.
2. “Your Boy” is used ALL THE TIME amongst blacks to each other. Sometimes written as “Your Boi”. As in - “Hey Yo, it’s your Boi - wassup!”
So much ado about nothing I’m afraid.
...If your mixed race you can say “yea buoyyyyy!”...
You nailed it.
Sorry, Pat, but you are plenty old enough to realize that it is insulting to use the term “boy” when speaking of or to a black man. I can defend Conservatism but not stupidity.
But whether or not he is "more of an Ivy League white Communist," or not, depends on how one defines "Communist." He is certainly heavily influenced by Marxist and other Egalitarian Leftist thought; and as such is the enemy of all we hold sacred.
Thus does it really matter if a Conservative is accused of slurring him? He is trying to destroy our heritage!

Yep, and why I refer to him as a wet behind the ears kid.
It’s ok for black people to refer to white men as “white boy”. They do it all the time. So lets call a spade a spade.
(1) Homie: Shortened version of homeboy, homeboy being your close friend: "Whassup homie"
Then there could be no controversy as it's a compliment. Pat's saying Sharpton and Obama are friends.
Bull shit... thats no kind of slur for racist hatemonger ... fatso shoulda been jailed years ago for inciting riots & murder
He’s 1/2 white 1/4 arab and 1/4 black....he’s a camel jockey and cracker more than an african american. These race pimps should get up to speed...
boy-oh-boy....
It appears Sharpton didn’t interpret it as a racial slur. A “white interloper” did and followed up on it later in the day.
“The way to answer these stupid charges is with ridicule or derision, NOT an apology or explanation”
Exactly.
Once you decide to “apologize”, you’ve lost.
The better response would be:
“I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. If that offends you, well, tough...”
Only when the Euro-Americans start saying this more often, will we stop being “a nation of cowards” and make real progress towards addressing race-related issues in this country....
Just sayin’....
*APPLAUSE*
Zebra!
some things only black people can say. because some animals are more equal.
