This is all foolishness you know? All of our politicians (except for a very few - elected lately) will do anything to stay in office. Therefore, they will vote for only those things that help them remain in office. That does not have any substance with their electability - most should be thrown out anyway.

Once again I need some help. I just can’t tell.
Will someone, anyone, tell me once again, what is the difference between a Republican and a Democrat?

Interesting seeing the two No votes from NJ...was it not left leaning enough or is Christie driving the debate in NJ?

As a Missourian who voted for Roy Blunt, I’m disappointed but not very surprised. Sorry Roy, no more $ from me big guy.

What we need to know now is how many and which of the 26 “No votes” are up for election next year.

The find out if any R represents you and see if they voted yes. If they did, start the search for a conservative candidate to primary them out. If like me, your representatives are D’s ... got to look for a Tea Party Candidate to go up against them now. Time to start getting the ball rolling for the fund raising.

The difference is that Republicans would not have snuck healthcare reform on us on a Xmas eve. A Republican would not have nominated Kagan or Sotomayor to the USSC. A Republican president would not go back and forth on whether the Bush tax cuts would be made to expire. A Republican president would not have allowed for the EPA to subvert the will of congress on carbon. The list goes on.

Sure, I’m not elated with the recent events that many republicans are complicit in, but the difference in nominees to the USSC, and all that leads to, is enough to keep supporting them while giving them a piece of my mind.

Pansy’s afraid of getting primaried. He has no scruples, he just wants to stay in office.
I have to wonder if it is good or bad that those who live with their fingers to the wind think it’s blowing in the tea party’s favor.

Keep score on these new people and the ones who bent to the right to get elected and then went back to the left afterwords.

I did that at 2AM today and fired off an email to my GOP squish and to the Tea party seeking a primary challenger.

OK
You just keep your Republican party.
One party is driving us over the cliff at 100MPH and the other is driving us over the same damn cliff at 80MPH.
Maybe it really is time for a third way. Teaparty? I don't know, but no Republican or Democrat need apply for my vote.
That would include Sarah Palin if she runs as a Republican.
