JERUSALEM -- In a dramatic policy shift, Israel's prime minister has agreed to negotiate the borders of a Palestinian state based on the cease-fire line that marks off the West Bank, a TV station reported Monday.
Until now, Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to spell out his plan for negotiating the border. A senior Israeli official would not confirm outright that the prime minister was now willing to adopt the cease-fire line as a starting point, but said Israel was willing to try new formulas to restart peace talks based on a proposal made by President Barack Obama.
In a speech about the Middle East in May, Mr. Obama proposed negotiations based on the pre-1967 line with agreed swaps of territory between Israel and a Palestinian state. Mr. Netanyahu reacted angrily then, insisting that Israel would not withdraw from all of the West Bank, although that was not what Mr. Obama had proposed.
Now, Mr. Netanyahu is basically accepting that framework, according to Channel 2 TV, offering to trade Israeli territory on its side of the line for West Bank land where its main settlements are located.

Not buying it either.
Total BS.
If this is true, sounds like Bibi is calling their bluff. Interesting, time will tell.
That’s the truth.

Thanks.
WTF Bibi folded and accepted the usurper’s plan to destroy Israel??
If true, why is everybody caving to the Kenyan all of a sudden?
The failure of the Republican party to hold the line on spending, and allow Obama to get through the election cycle without another debt ceiling charade means Obama is now primed to win a 2nd term, leaving Israel in an untenable situation.
Last week Obama insiders were floating the idea of ending the Israel loan guarantee program, while weeks before that Obama’s people were increasing foreign aid to Egypt and direct transfers to Muslim Brotherhood.
That’s where the situation stands.
Bibi might try to run out the clock for another 18 months if Obama loses, but 5.5 years is too long, Israel needs stability in long term planning to make sure the civil society doesn’t crack under increasing levels of Obama blessed intifadas.
The only line acceptable for the Muslims is the one made on the sand by the Mediterranean Sea. There will never be peace, never. Israel should never negotiate - it should secure it’s current holdings, including the West Bank, and never budge.
Bull!
Yeah, sure. I loved disco, too..
Jordan was on the other side of those “67 Lines,” and illegally (per the UN,) NOT “Palestine”.
“Palestine” was never any legitimate government other than a Roman protectorate.
To whom should Israel give the “occupied” land? Jordan? or Rome?
Pure nonsense.
