The politicans voting yes lied to us. Allen West claimed to be a tea party leaning politician but lied. This was like Tarp all over. We had the house. All we needed to do was hold the line. Spending would of balanced. Now we are heading for QE3 and the depression can start as the interest increases.
Lately we've seen some real whackadoodles come out of that FReeper class.
Good post.
GOP lawmakers said the super committee could well recommend a rise in taxes, which would be passed by the House.
*In addition, financial experts warned the U.S. credit rating was still likely to be downgraded, as figures revealed the U.S. has entered a double-dip recession and the Dow Jones average today fell to a level barely above the point indicating growth. *
would be the largest increase in the debt limit in U.S. history by a margin of half a trillion dollars
Well, that was informative.
Thanks for sharing!
The more things change, the more they remain the same! sick and tired, sick and tired of the same old tune...Why is it a man or women who gets elected on the precipice of change, then goes to Washington and they fall into the same corrupt hole that has been dragging this country into the pit for decades.
Thank you, okie01.
Things seem upside down in this thread.
The establishment set that up to fail. They didn’t use any leverage to get it passed. Bachmann wanted to make raising the debt contingent on repealing Obamacare. They could have added it to every spending bill they sent to the Senate. I would have split out the funding for running the White House and the Senate into stand alone bills and added it to those bills.
Let the Leader cut the grass at the White House and take out the trash. Let Michelle make beds, wash, iron and cook until Obamacare is repealed. Let Senators answer their own phones and vacuum their own offices until it’s repealed.
Except when you give up your integrity and vote with the enemy in war they hang your ass.
Pathetic.
What are you talking about? This wasn’t a budget vote. If you actually read the freaking bill, you’ll see in 6 months that things will be open to revisit it. Paul Ryan guaranteed tonight there will be no tax increases during the process.

It looks like all of our reps in South Carolina held the line with a “nay” vote! I’m so proud of them, especially after beating up on Congressman Scott leading into this thing. It would really suck right now to have a “West 2012” bumper sticker plastered on my outboard instead of “Sarah 2012”. At least if she doesn’t run, she didn’t sell us out. Just Sayin...
Sometimes hysteria gets too hysterical!
Abstaining, rejection and voting for favorite sons will not defeat obummer. Only a united effort will. Does that mean my head is up my a$$?
>> That was it. Tomorrow, I am changing my registration from Rebublican to Independent.
Would that prevent you from voting in the Republican primaries?
I bet you’re having a blast here tonight, n00b troll.
JimRob’s post earlier today was admirable and necessary, but he didn’t know all of the details of the actual bill, nor did any of us.
What is FR’s stance on this, Jim? We actually cut baseline spending next year by $21 billion, and that’s without a GOP President.
Is that the best you can do oh recent convert since 2009, hit me with you best shot....
Was that a fly, hmm, maybe another RINO whiner
No matter, they will fly away like they always do
You are a moron.
You do know who Grover is right, I mean you put your comic books down long enough to post just checking to see...
