America gets screwed again.
OK - get a better deal, pass the 8/2 deadline, and make obama miss his birthday fundraiser.
But mostly, get a better deal.
Doesn't anyone know that 0's got to get his azz to Chitcago for his birthday party/fund raiser tomorrow night.
$38K per couple, mmmm mmmm mmmmhh!
Livin' Large and They're movin' on up, to the east side...
The best deal is to make this all come about again before the next election and make this THE election issue.
Poor Obama it would have looked REALLY BAD if he had played golf this weekend, he was probably fuming that he didn’t go.....or did he???
BOHICA......
Let’s see....cuts to military personnel and Medicare providers. Doctors and soldiers, which party do they generally vote for?
How do they get around the campaign limits?
Some might enjoy this hilariously stupid ‘analysis’ I ran across by the other side:

Agreed - but we have the budget, the super-commission, and an extension of the Bush tax cuts to talk about. Granted they're not nearly as good as having this discussion again but their presence may be a mitigating factor in allowing the omission of another debt-raise fight - especially if we get something big for giving that up.
But I don't see what that may be. If super commission can't decide OR if cuts don't pass both houses, automatic cuts would be:
If the special committee fails to deliver a deficit-cutting package that would trigger $1.2 trillion in cuts, half would be Defense cuts and the other half would be non-Defense cuts, exempting low-income programs Social Security and Medicaid, and only impacting providers in Medicare.
Seems we should be talking about cutting about things besides defense and should not be exempting things.
No entity may contribute to any candidates campaign effort more than $100 per year and all contributions in excess of $5 must be verified by a name, address, photo id, and social security or tax id number.
There. Done.
I thought it used to be if a candidate decided not to run he got to keep the money in his campaign coffers. Did it change? And if they’re in the red they have to pay it. Of course someone else pays it for them.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, (D., Calif.) says shes not pleased with the way the debt ceiling deal went down. But you know, as they say, sausage making isn't pretty," she said. "The sausage we have, I think, is a very different sausage than when we started."
Wow. It’s amazing to hear the utterly stupid things people believe when they only pay attention to politics when it’s part of a TV drama, or when they belong to a cult of personality. I doubt this person has the ability to recover when reality smacks them upside the head.
Wasn’t that something? And it came up in a Bing ‘news’ search!
In other news...
“...White House is now waiting for House Speaker John Boehner to get behind the compromise and waiting for him to tell Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., how many Republicans hes going to lose, and therefore, how many Democrats need to support the bill. “
