Obama over shot. He should have been Democrat's choice for VICE president. A critic. Not a leader.

The worm has turned. Perhaps even Bo the water dog will vote Republican. With the debt negotiations, the Republicans screwed the country but they got what they wanted, a lame duck Obama.

PS - This is a short clip from the larger "Obama is a Loser" Noonan discussion.

I believe they refer to it as “leading from behind”.

Isn’t that what they wanted?

A president that could read what they wrote for him?

A week or so ago there were rumors that the Capitol Hill leadership [both parties] were disgusted and frustrated about trying to negotiate with Obama, so they met in secret — sans Obama — to hash out a budget ceiling deal.

==

I still maintain that, if the economy remains this bad by early next year, Obama will be forced to not seek a 2nd term — by the Dems. [Shades of LBJ]

They know they can’t win if unemployment is still well over 8%, the recession is continuing, etc. Their only ‘blessing’ at present is that inflation/interest rates have stayed low and off the radar.

==

After seeing this thread, I am even more convinced that the Dems are trying to find a way to unseat Obama but retain the White House.

And that is, this president has been invisible, he is not a leader. They said this all behind closed doors. Democratic leaders, Democratic rank-and-file.

Yet, they, DEMS and LSM, all followed him and told the lemmings to follow him. And worst of all, lots of republican stayed home on election day because McCain was not conservative enough.

At risk of repeating myself, I’d rather have a republican-lite or a RINO in office over any democRAT.

The pictures I've seen of BO & Bo going for a walk .... Bo is always in the lead.

Obama’s transparency has been obvious from the beginning to anyone who wished to look.

Whether or not one agreed with liberalism, the fact that this fellow was vapid, and not a quick thinker - or even just a thinker at all - was there for all to see.

“We’ve got to educate the American people at the same time we educate the President of the United States. The Republicans, Speaker Boehner or Majority Leader Cantor did not call for Social Security cuts in the budget deal. The President of the United States called for that,”

For some reason, the “invisilble” leadership comments brought to mind John Kerry. If he had been elected, we’d have gone through this years earlier. And who would have been the man behind him pulling the strings. The same one that’s pulling Obama’s strings?

Mika was not happy with Joe sharing that. She is one of those who will ride the Obama ship to the bottom of the ocean.

His big idea to get the debt limit raised was to have people Tweet the Repubs. That was his big idea. Cyber bullying. Congrats Pres! You think the same way as the average 16-year-old cheerleader!

It seems much more possible that they have saved the country. Better the debt ceiling not be raised than the insane spending bills that have been put forward.

The Democrats are complaining about Obama behind closed doors?

Then how come they stick together and give him everything he wants.

They are as bad as he is. Make no mistake about that.
Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have a good hold on Obama’s coat tails and will follow him over that cliff.

In the end I hope the good Obama does is like what Carter did - and gave us Reagan.

I hope Obama sucks so bad that we get a great conservative president, with big ideas to really put us on a new track.

What's in obama's resume that makes people think he'd be ready for or good at being POTUS???

Did anyone even listen to what he was saying during his campaign? Apparently not.

And now they are 'unexpectedly' surprised by the results???

Will there be riots when he is unseated either in a Dem primary challenge or in November, 2012?
