I sell antiques and collectibles on eBay, and it occurred to me several weeks ago to offer international shipping on everything I sell, not just select items.
I am increasingly shipping to foreign countries that would never have bought from the US due to the exchange rate several years ago. I am even shipping to Australia.

shipping to foreign countries
Cost and time have shrunk tremendously.
Amazon.com is still the worst place I have found for ordering. For some reason, it takes WEEKS to receive an order through them.
Online orders from other retailers (Tigerdirect, Walmart, etc.) typically takes 2-5 business days.

Oh, yes, our exports are bargains now for many other countries. You are helping our balance of trade!

I am increasingly shipping to foreign countries Was listening to Harry Rinker's Antiques & Collectibles radio show this morning. He said he sees increased sales to Russians and others flush with oil money. He wasn't making a political point, just a market observation in his area of expertise.
