Good morning, AB.
Think I’ve got this debt ceiling thing figured out.
Congress voted a debt ceiling in order to protect taxpayers from Congress overspending the taxpayers money.
Congress decided that Congress really doesnt want to stop overspending the taxpayers money, so Congress wants the debt ceiling raised.
Congress will now tax the taxpayers more tax money so that Congress can raise the debt ceiling, thereby protecting the taxpayer from the Congress that will continue to overspend even more of the taxpayers money.
Who said this was complicated?

Good morning, AB!
I always get a kick out of Jennifer Granholm. She deserves to be on Obama's re-election campaign payroll. I predict we'll here about the desperate plight of Michigan, and how only TOTUS and massive federal funds can save them.

I agree that the Speaker has managed to illuminate the spending problem in D.C. If he had been successful with CCB the One would have been guaranteed reelection as the economy would definitely rebound in the next 15 months.
Obama, by winning this battle, will lose the war (his reelection. The deal he has made to pile up more debt between now and November, 2012 unfortunately will thrust our Country deeper in depression.

former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, D-Mich is making an appearance. Now that NASA has retired the Space Shuttles (The 1975 Cutlass of the Space Program), Detroit is recycling other old models that should be bronzed and put in a museum, rather than relied on for anything useful.
And speaking of useful, now that NASA is no longer doing anything useful, why don't we just defund it?

FOX NEWS SUNDAY has a replacement host
Bret Baier (nice tie, reads well) asks Gene Sperling, director
National Economic Council, what is the cause of the economic problem?
Sperling blames everyone but Obama.
Causes are alleged to be Bush (the pRes_ _ent 'inherited'
everything, and the rest results from the GOP's present "threat of default"
Sperling should go back to running the Hair Club.
Bret Baier: "You said, 'The USA is on a good trajectory' Is it?"
Gene Sperling says growth will be 3.5% and every
problem is from the GOP's cause of the "default".
The printing presses are melting they are running so hard,
but HE blames the American public who is FED UP.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, D-Mich
Granholm, still delusional about how economic growth occurs spewing “investment” is the part Republicans don’t understand; and if I understand her other point was lower taxes are the cause for business going off shore
Jim Kramer is on talking about how business were scared into taking their money off the table[I”m sure he’s proud of his Democrat votes now...]

I just finished watching Meet the Press and I was blown away by Raul Labrador! He didn't let anybody get away with any crap, but without looking nasty. He was totally rational and had facts at hand without a stumble. He thinks on his feet!
I wasn't sure why they let him speak and finish his points. Maybe it was because he has a slight Spanish accent and it wouldn't be PC to slam him.
Also, he was supported in many of his telling points by Tom Brokaw who was deep in the tank for Obama... Is it possible a tectonic shift is occurring?

Rep. Labrador was fantastic on MTP. First he exposed what a bad Governor Granholm was in Michigan. Granholm kept criticizing the Tea Party and how it was responsible for preventing an agreement to raise the debt ceiling. He specifically mentioned how taxes and unemployment had increased in Michigan while she was Governor.
Then he corrected the self-rightous Tom Brokaw when he said the Tea Party had been a loser this week. He pointed out that The House had passed 2 plans to raise the debt ceiling and The Senate had not passed any plan. Brokaw's expression was priceless. Way to go Rep. Labrador, you are not afraid to correct the propagandists to their faces.

So with all the talk shows going on this morning, I don't think anybody speculated on whether or not Barack Obama could actually control his urges and spending well enough to make the $2,400 BILLION dollars last until after the 2012 election. I wonder what the over/under will be for that.
