I hope you are right. She is a genuinely good person but has been far too trusting in the past. She understands evil and fights against corruption when it is in the open, but I think she expects every new person she encounters to be honest simple because of her own integrity. My biggest worry is not enemies on the other side, whether Dem or media, but America’s enemies within the GOP.

The election will be an up or down vote on Obama, and the GOP nominee is (nearly) irrelevant from the perspective of determining the winner. Can Sarah win the GOP nomination? I'm not sure, but it will depend on her campaign (you know, that thing Obama is going to spend $1B doing to change his own image). She certainly can't win without campaigning. With a campaign? We'll find out.
