The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of EPIC FAIL!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies...
Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
- Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), March 20, 2006

Epic fail...Pretty much the first words in my brain the millisecond I realized Obama was going to be our next POTUS "
I think ? that " EPIC FAIL " is to small of a word to even use in light of this and in this context, there may not even be a word in the dictionary to use.
It's more than " EPIC FAIL " this is failure in Biblical Proportions.

" That $211 Trillion estimate is the largest one I've seen so far. More than mind boggling... Impossible to ever pay off..."
As if ? as if it was actually " Intended " to be that way.

" Obama should be impeached for scaring the American public as he has done about Social Security and Medicare payments. There are many seniors whose health cannot take such worry. The president is not elected to frighten the public. "
Social Security was or is supposed to be funded under the FICA tax, and not from the general government funds.
Social Security was suppose to be under some kind of " LOCK BOX " that government could not touch, and if Obama said that old people would not get their social security checks next month was all a lie.

The MSM has gone into a frenzy these passed 2 weeks of reporting on those people starving in Africa, is this some kind of diversion tactic ?

" I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the freeloaders aren't being asked to sacrifice one damn thing. "
It's not just the entitlements, it's also the worthless wasteful pointless government agencies that were brought into being to make people's live more miserable.
Many companies now would make it commonsense to protect the environment, so what's the point of having the E.P.A. ?
The state of education in this country is a complete failure, not counting a few exceptions..... turn the education department back to the states.
How many BILLIONS would be saved right there eliminating the E.P.A. and the Department of Education ?
How about HUD ? HLS ? turn N.A.S.A over to privatization.

" Its not a debt ceiling its a debt hole and you cant get out of a hole with more digging. Further digging will just get you to China, of you might meet China (who are digging their own hole) half-way, at someplace worse. "
What is the US going to do when China runs into their own problem with their fiscal situation and won't be able to lend anymore money ?
Yes, China is soon to be in great economic trouble that the MSM is not reporting about.
They go many industrial and infrastructure projects over there that would make the " ROAD TO NOWHERE " green with envy.
They expanded at light speed with unchecked borrowing inside their country, a lot of bad loans, toxic debts within China, corruption, and now they have to put the brakes on their over heated economy with higher interest rates.
Borrowing money there is getting harder to come by.... things are getting ready to come crashing down in China real fast and soon.
They have already had a major wave of factory closings last year, and things are not looking good this year.
The bank of China for USA's borrowing is getting ready to close.
It was reported just last week or this week that shipping has slowed down, that means, less imports to the USA.

What makes you think the government is not already borrowing for basic necessities ? There is no reason this country needs to borrow for basic necessities. We're a country rich in resources. We have vast farmlands going unfarmed. We have oil, coal and natural gas sitting in the ground. We have a vast work force that is willing to work.
Our government's fiscal troubles are the result of bureaucrats in Washington and liberals/moderate politicians who have tied up these resources with their eco-friendly/global economy agenda. I don't believe it's too late but we're at a cross road. It's time this nation goes back to common sense principles.

Not a penny to ObamaCare, the EPA, the TSA, the dept of homeland unsecurity, the dept of uneducation, the uncommerce dept, planned parenthood, acorn, the unions, etc, or any other political organization, including public broadcasting. Cut the fat, cut the pork, cut the waste, cut the fraud. Cut the federal salaries, pensions and benefits, cut their staffing, cut their offices, cut the subsidies. Cut the foreign aid, not a penny to the U.N. or any other world body. Stop the wars, declare victory and bring our troop home. Freeze and or cut all federal budgets. Send the illegal aliens packing and quit subsidizing the illegal alien invasion! Thanks, Jim! Worth another BTTT!
