America: Time to Start Over
American Thinker ^ | July 30, 2011 | Matt Patterson

In short, we have been living a "hundred of trillions" lifestyle on "tens of trillions" in actual wealth. The difference between the two sums is money that would have belonged to the future: future kids would have used it to pay for their education, future inventors to invest in their ideas, future couples to buy their first home. It is money they will now never have; we have plucked it from their pockets and purses before they were even born. It's easy, after all, to rob someone who doesn't yet exist. So that we could pretend to be richer than we are, we have ensured that our children will be poorer than they deserve to be...............This is a monstrous moral failing, a horrendous crime against our heirs.

“This is a monstrous moral failing, a horrendous crime against our heirs.”

If Obama had advertised his policy goals transparently, it would have been clear that the redistribution he favors actually is from our kids and grandkids to the present generation. It’s intergenerational theft on a scale literally unprecedented in the history of the world. Sadly, he feels not a shred of guilt over this.

It’s stunning that millenials continue to be his biggest supporters (though it’s encouraging that their support finally appears to be peeling away). They should be marching in streets in rage over the massive debt burden he is placing on their shoulders.

” They should be marching in streets in rage “

Since they (and we) will soon all be living in cardboard boxes under bridges and overpasses - they’ll be ‘marching in the streets’, all right....

This morally bankrupt government of the sheeple may one day make us all homeless, but then you'll be able to tell the Freepers-they are the heavily armed homeless people.

This whole situation is mind-boggling and making you want to scream.

The only redeeming hope is that more and more people, through the Internet and sites such as this one, are beginning to see the truth about these alleged leaders and the politicians can no longer suppress the truth with their duplicity.

You are right, of course. I wish someone would stanfd at a town hall and say “Mr. Obama, you, sir, are a criminal. You steal from our children and theirs in order to give to your generations of unproductiv, lazy squatters in return for their votes and your own personal power, and history shall judge you exactly this way.

Interesting. I think it is the baby-boomers that are his biggest supporters.

Wow, What a Wake-up call. Problem is many are awake and those whom are not by now only have eyes which do not see and ears that do not hear.

This is a monstrous moral failing, a horrendous crime against our heirs.

We relinquished any claim to concern for our heirs when we determined that their death in the womb, before they so much as drew breath, could be considered a moral imperative by any who deemed it so.

<>We are by our ethics and our actions, the last generation. After us the deluge.

In 1973,a small group of old, evil men wearing black robes and fooloshly considering themselves "Supreme" decreed the beginning of the end of a great nation.

The very act of legalizing abortion proved those old men were not wise nor good. They should have been impeached and removed from office.

I hate being cynical but will be one now because of 1973.

Since 1973 millions of babies have been aborted. That is one reason the Ponzi scheme has failed.

Aside from the abomination of roughly 40 millions abortions + the baby boomers + government malfeasance no wonder we have been led to what Obama calls the empty “coffers”.

Oh,I have made that point to people myself. The missing 40 million would be working in the aboveground economy(no need for illegal laborers) and paying taxes ,and ......

Abortion murders the future of the society that condones it.

Stupid Westerners identify themselves as liberal Christians yet kill their own children whilst muslims raise ever-increasing armies of young.

“I think it is the baby-boomers that are his biggest supporters.”

Millennials voted 66% to 32% for Obama in 2008 http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2011/07/28/under_obama_millennials_move_into_the_gop_column_110740.html

It’s a fair bet Baby Boomers didn’t exceed this, else Obama would have won by a landslide. Fortunately, millennials are starting to wake up.

Well, maybe there’s hope because according to the link, the millenials are learning.

In my mind, Obama’s real supporters are baby-boomers, such as the Clintons, Axelrods, Krugmans, Ayres, Schumers, Pelosis, of this world, the power elite now in charge, not just young millenial voters Obama snookered.
