I always thought that the use of a gospel choir in this song was a stroke of brilliance, especially at the end when they take over.

I put in about 5 hours +lunch. The speakers are working and sound good. I also got the food pantry squared away and some locks changed and helped with cleaning. We’ve had a lot of water damage downstairs and the cleanup is massive, but we had 15 folks and really accomplished a lot.

"Angel Baby" was recorded on a old broken down Webcor tape machine in a garage in Connecticut.

In the instrumental section in the middle, the sax player blows a sour note, which throws the piano off, which throws the drummer off. It's one of the great train wrecks in rock history.
