Perhaps it’s less about what Ingraham said than how she said it. She could have easily said “I disagree with Palin and here’s what I think would be the best approach to making sure the conservatives get the best deal without caving in to the spendaholic leftists like Reid and Obama...” and then she could go through a list of positive steps that might prove helpful to the conservative cause.
Instead, she chose to pick a fight with Palin and every other conservative that wants more than a slowdown in our fiscal suicide. Personally, I want a long-term solution that involves spending cuts happening in the same fiscal year as any increase in debt. We can never vote yes (or aye or yea) for any plan that allows the dems to pull a bait and switch.
I agree that Ingraham can be snarky at times. There are times when I have to stop listening to her. But anyone who thinks she’s anti-Palin is off their rocker.
