[history]
Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, one of the high-profile certified non-moderates urging the GOP to support John Boehner's debt ceiling bill, leveled criticism at Sarah Palin during today's show for raising the prospect of 2012 primary challenges to House Republicans.

No, Larua thank god we have people who stand on principle. Most of the time that's the reason we get half a loaf. If it wasn't for the grass roots we'd be totally screwed. I do agree with her though that throwing out primary challenge threats right now isn't helpful. I can't believe Palin really thinks someone like Paul Ryan or Alan West should be primaried because they're voting for Boehner 3.0. So I'm not sure who that challege was directed at.

Ingraham argued in her broadcast that Palin's note was unhelpful to the GOP and to the tea party I have had about enough of Ingraham too. Lindsey Graham's old girlfriend.

Love Laura, but she’s wrong. Nothing focuses a congressman’s mind like a potential primary challenge. Palin is injecting a little reminder into a debate that is threatening to become unmoored from reality.

Beware of Politico stirring the pot.
Absolutely true. But last night she filled in for Ted Baxter and she spent the whole hour going off on the nit wits that the Tea Party people are for not taking this deal and running. You would have thought she was Boners spokesperson.

It’s weird how the Politico refuses to watch what the buffoons on their side are up to. The Politico appears to be suffering from a severe case of Republican Derangement Syndrome (RDS).

Makin’ friends inside the beltway there Laura? Don’t let the cash trump the ol’ principles.

I almost didn’t recognize Laura today. She was snarky and sarcastic, actually setting up one of Obama’s famous false choices: “if Republicans don’t go with Boehner’s plan they’re voting with Pelosi!” She was fawning over Bill Kristol and very rude to any caller who disagreed with her.
What happened to her??
To: ejdrapes
Draft the ideal plan..or the closest thing you can to it...pass it in the house with GOP support only. Send it to the Senate where it dies. Take the best deal you can from the dems. Spend the next 15 months making the case that the American people could have had your plan but got something worse instead.
People...this isn’t defeat, it’s the roadmap to a win in 2012. The house, senate and Presidency.

The fact that Ingraham can hang out with BOR says a lot about her real positioning on the Tea Party - RINO spectrum.

She proceeded to run through a list of conservatives who have endorsed Boehner's plan, quipping sarcastically: "I guess we're threatening, implicitly, explicitly, Paul Ryan, Col. Allen West, Mike Pence is gonna be out of the House of Representatives. He'll be the governor of Indiana. Maybe we can run someone else as governor of Indiana, to run for the governorship, 'cause Pence is obviously a sellout. Can I have the whole list of sellouts? I need the list so I can make sure I understand who's going to get the primary challenge." When we get the list, we'll send it to you airmail. Sarcastic shrew.
