Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, one of the high-profile certified non-moderates urging the GOP to support John Boehner's debt ceiling bill, leveled criticism at Sarah Palin during today's show for raising the prospect of 2012 primary challenges to House Republicans.

Allen West didn’t suddenly turn into a RINO because he thinks unfortunately we have to find a way to raise the debt ceiling.

"Thinks unfortunately" or "unfortunately thinks." Most of us believe it is unfortunate he thinks we must raise the debt limit rather than reduce spending.

Don’t assume everyhing has to do with Palin.

I’ve disliked Coulter since she tred to tar and feather Roberts by trying him for souter’s sins.

Bachmann I think is using the tea party movement just to advance herself. Look at who is credited with raising opposition in the House. Was it Bachmann leading the charge? Nope, she has no sway there. Complete lightweight on real accomplishments. It was Jordan leading the way.

Ingraham I’ve had a problem with for a few years and her support of Romney is the cherry on top.

does this limit people I find worthy? Absolutely. but keep in mind it took until this year for conservatives to finally acknowledge Newt had gone round the bend. There are a number of people living off reputations that have long not represented them any longer. It would be better if it didn’t take years for the rank and file to realize it. could save years of these people subveresively working against our interests.

I also don’t agree that good conservatives like Allen West are suddenly RINOs we need to primary.

West needs to suck it up and stop trying to appease. He is on the wrong side of an increasing list of conservative issues.

Not everyone who disagreed with the conservatives attacked them like West did. Therein lies the difference.

It's isn't hard to see why people who attacked the conservatives might face a conservative in their next primary.

I have loved Laura in days gone by; when she never made these kinds of surrender statements. Your mention of her dating Lindsey Grahamnesty, assuming that you are serious and truthful, evokes a question. What is Laura’s marital status? I think I have heard that she has more than one child. Is there a husband lurking in the underbrush somewhere?

If I were asked to pinpoint the reason for Laura’s slow morphing into a “surrender monkey” as described by a FR stalwart in another reply in this thread, I would say that her occasional guest-hosting for Ted Baxter has turned her head and maladjusted her steering alignment, causing her to “pull to the left” even as your car would do in similar circumstances.

And there also, in my opinion, you have a microcosmic view of what happens to a fine youbg fresh-faced congress critter when they go off to DC after being elected for the first time. It is the RARE and unique individual who can go into that atmosphere and maintain their integrity and principles.....if they had any to begin with.

Was the vote that took place for the Boehner-3 bill a recorded vote? I wonder if there were ANY of the fresh faces who were elected in November who maintained their integrity, or whether they all were seduced into surrendering principles to a lost cause, which was DOA?

I’m not a fan of any of those people either. But a lot of FReepers were. I’m just amazed that these FReepers are willing to throw them under the bus for not kneeling before Saint Sarah.

Don’t let your judgement be blurred by his uniform and rank. Remember, John Kerry once wore the uniform of a U.S. Navy Officer! I am NOT putting West in the same class as Kerry. But just keep an eye on him and see in what other ways and future situations he gives indications that he has contracted the bureaucratic flu that pervades Foggy Bottom.

That malady has felled many a good man, just like West. He is showing symptoms. I pray that he can shake it off and recover. However, once the old retreads, like McConnell, et al, who run the place, discern that a person can be rolled, they will keep the pressure on him, and keep the perqs and goodies coming his way until he is completely politically debauched!

Sorry, I am a she also and a lot of people think I’m a he. Maybe we should put our sex in our taglines.

It’s not a crime to support Michele Bachmann, but why does that have to involve knocking another candidate, particularly Sarah.

I like Michele also but fear that she has way too many negatives and would be eaten like hungry wolves on a carcass.

Sarah, on the other hand, has been probed, prodded, examined and gone after from every imaginable angle. She hasn’t been touched.

I don’t trust your posts because you have such an agenda to push.

I noticed that also. I used to listen to her a lot. She showed Lee some respect. She’s now totally dismissive of all her producers and associates. If they make a remark, she never acknowledges it or answers. It’s just her, her, her all the time

>> Mark Levin apparently took to his facebook page to dliver a well deserved swipe

Among ‘em all, Levin best represents my point of view, but that’s measured against a lean herd of opinionators.

Oh I see. So out of fear of the dems pinning the debt ceiling problem on us, Republicans should support a crapass bill? Wow, how wonderfully conservative of you.

Did you ever answer Jim’s question to you of why you whine about people criticizing Bachmann yet you attack Palin left and right?

What’s with the hatred of SARAH PALIN at Free Republic? I figured it’d be best to ask you directly as you seem to be the head hater.

Stopped listening to her 2 years ago.

Hate when she takes the "8pm'ers" place on FOX also!

I'll take the local crap on radio instead...

I can't stand the "8pm'er" anyway....I never watch.

L.Ingram used to be okay when the Iraq war was hot and heavy.

Too bad she drank the establishment Kool-aid....

Seems like the list of people this site likes is shrinking to just one.

Kind of stupid if you ask me.

Yea, living by your principles really is stupid.

What a maroon.

Yes. And just earlier today Ambrose Evans-Pritchard also got thrown under the bus for similar reasons. The English writer who FR loved for a decade because of his insights into the US political system.

Pathetic and embarrassing.
