There is no way that Obastard didn’t know about this. Newell’s claims that the Mexican justice system “was going to be informed” about the fact the the US government had allowed several thousand firearms to be smuggled into Mexico is such an obvious lie that Newell ought to be jailed for perjury immediately.

If a foreign country had allowed thousands of illegal firearms and explosives to be imported into the US, it would be considered an act of war.

From what I understand the Mexicans have already complained that efforts to track the source of guns they found (that unbeknownst to them were part of F&F) were rebuffed, and no info provided. I’d have to dig to remember where I saw that. I quite frankly think they dumped these guns all over because they love the meme that gun violence is the fault of conservatives and the 2nd amendment. There is something very wrong with the whole picture, not just incompetence or idiocy.
