Any of you that still support this pos boehner and the republican establishment... should rethink your position and change it. We are going to have to take down the leadership... as it is today... and replace every single one of them... or America as we have known and loved her... will die.

Mark Levin has a list names and phone numbers of Reps who may succumb to the pressure of the House leadership. He asks that they be contacted and told to hold firm.

Apparently the GOP leaders all missed the message of last election.

They didn't miss it. They understood it and they are trying hard to mitigate its effects and co-opt the new members, to implicate them in traditional Republican chicanery so that their hands will be dirty, too, and their ties to the voters broken so that they truly will be dependent for any chances they have left for re-election on the Republican Party and its capos.

I heard they are threatening the Tea Party reps with their “career”.

I hope their response is 1) I don’t intend to make this a career out of my service in the House and 2) I will run for re-election on a third party ticket if I suffer *any* repercussions for my decision.

Such is the pettiness of tyrants. What about the promises they made to their constituents? Guess they only count when they agree with the LOSERS running the Republican establishment. The elitist Republican establishment is evidently just hunky dory with their secret Messiah as President for 4 more years.

The House leadership needs to be reminded that they serve at the will and the whim of the majority. They are placed in that position to serve the members of the majority and not the other way around.

Conservatives are the only politicians the establishment EVER attack. They would NEVER treat Pelosi or Reid the way they treat conservatives.

But then, the establishment IS on the side of Pelosi and Reid.

The Republicans are acting no better than the democrats. We do not need to take lessons from Rahm Emanuel. If they keep it up The Tea Party will take over and I for one am ready for that to happen!

As ugly as all of this sounds - this is what it means to have political parties.

Parties have members, they have leaders, they have party agendas, and they have members.

Leaders have carrots and they have sticks.

Leaders use said carrots and said sticks on members to as to see the party agenda become law.

Many of the founders were against parties (or factions as the FF’s understood them to be). I think Madison in particular was of this opinion.

The fact is that we have parties and the fact is that this is how they work.

It really is like the making of sausage - you really don’t want to see it in action.
