Make it a permanent hold on the debt ceiling at the level it is at. If the tax and spenders won't accept a phased in balanced budget, make it an instant one. Make them prioritize. Pay the debt interest, military, Social Security, Medicare then evaluate every remaining penny in the tax receipts and decide what should remain.

This level is outrageously high. we need to go back to 2007 or thereabouts levels. We need to be talking about a DEBT CEILING DECREASE!
