BTW, when did Perry become a Conservative ? About the same time as Slick Willard ? What is it with your instant attraction to good-haired RINO flipflopping prima donnas ?
Got me.
What’s your attraction to dull-witted quitters?
Perry reminds me of Richard Nixon... he’s a slippery little sucker. Also, the best candidate we have going for 2012. Still surprised Daniels didn’t run.
I just wonder what brought on a change in world-view that makes one at one time an Al Gore supporter, who then later claims to be a conservative? Were there no conservatives at the time of Al Gore’s receipt of support from Perry?
What exactly has been his explanation for that? Or has there been a change. I would love to see some explanation that was more than just saying that others have done it, or that he has “learned” something. What did he learn and what was the cause of his change of outlook on the world.
Unless that is answered, I cannot in good conscience support Perry.
GWB said he would not engage in “nation-building” and it seems that is our entire foreign policy now. Build up Mexico, build up Afghanistan, build up Iraq, build up Europe, build up the banking industry world-wide, build up south American Oil industry, build up, in short, everything but America.
I am afraid we are going to elect the promises only to live with the surprises with Perry. I hope I am wrong.
Comparing Perry to Romney is absurd.
Perry has been both a consistent economic and social conservative. Romney was a liberal in Massachusetts.
