Christine O’Donnell Fires Back At Sen. McCain For Insulting Her On Senate Floor

In a fit of anti-Tea Party rage, Sen. John McCain tossed a media exposure lifesaver out to former Delaware senatorial candidate Christine O’Donnell, insulting the Tea Party for having launched her to the Republican nomination. O’Donnell graciously accepted the opportunity to make headlines once again, releasing as epic a statement as we haven’t seen since the Homeric tribute to Newt Gingrich last May.

Needless to say, being dismissed as a crazy candidate did not sit well with the Senate hopeful known mostly for having to clarify whether or not she was a witch. In a short and sweet statement, she reminded Sen. McCain of the “nightmare” that was his presidential race as proof that nominating Tea Partiers like her (and not “RINOs” like him) is the key to success:

I think that it is inappropriate to insult the judgment of the majority of Republicans in Nevada and Delaware and that the implication that nominating RINOs somehow means we win was irrefutably disproven by McCain’s own presidential candidacy debacle. After that nightmare, McCain had to veer right so fast he almost got whiplash from all his flip-flopping just to keep his Senate seat. It doesn’t help him to attack those conservatives and Tea Partiers who graciously gave him another chance to keep his job.

At the height of her king-making reign, Palin endorsed John McCain in a primary in which he was struggling, when it was absolutely unnecessary for her to do so. She owns him. You break it, you buy it.

As with most of the FR Palin-mob, your method for elevating Sarah is to trash other candidates. Do you really find Michelle Bachmann objectionable, or is it because she may compete with Sarah that you feel the need to smear her?

I think both are great women. Sarah has two blights on her record: the McCain endorsement, and DADT ambivalence. Bachmann has been a conservative stalwart, opposing TARP.

To further your ridiculously flimsy analogy, she endorsed a poisonous, defective product unto a small segment of people (Arizonans). The rest of the country didn't have a say, yet we are stuck with the consequences.

Remember - there is no talking sense to a liberal. On that note - my God-given time is valuable. I have things to do that is productive so I'll leave you to wallow around in liberalism because talking/explaining doesn't work on liberals - you just will never see it. Are you comparing McLame to something good for you, like Cheerios? What a ridiculous analogy. You aren't making any sense. I'd eat Cheerios because I know they are healthy. If Palin endorsed a piece of poop (which she did), would you eat the poop?

As for this only being a problem for me, I count at least two other posters in this thread stating that this is a great opportunity to break from McLame. On the flip side, you seem to be the only one who thinks it is a bad idea.

Now is Palin’s chance to break from McCain. She needs to chastise him and remind him that he seemed to be all happy to embrace enthusiasm from Tea Party folks when she campaigned for him in 2010 before the Tea Party in Tuscon.
