It’s called knowing the law and acting decently towards your fellow citizens. The Oceanside officer obviously left his ego at home and didn’t get angry when “Jeremy” wouldn’t give his name.
The officer came off like a complete professional and a class-act. "Jeremy" on the other hand came off like a jerk with a point to prove.
There's a right way to prove a point, and a wrong way to prove a point. "Jeremy" could've come off alot better by simply cooperating with the officer and showing how it's done on both sides.
Just my humble opinion...
IMHO the gun holder should have been cordial enough to offer his name. I thought it was the law to at least verbally give your name when asked by an officer. This guy was offered much more respect than he was go ing the officer.
