(sigh of exasperation) Yep. I cannot begin to tell you for how many decades I've heard that same sentiment expressed. This so-called "housecleaning" has been going on for all of my adult life. Please enlighten me as to when, in YOUR opinion, this GOP epiphany will finally occur.
I WANT to believe that Sarah Palin can do for the national GOP what she did for the Alaska GOP. If so, I'll gladly admit that I'm wrong in believing that, at present, our dream of a coup d'etat within the GOP is a pipedream.
