If a republican administration had ordered something remotely as ‘felony stupid’ as Fast and Furious there would be no debt limit debate, there would be no debate on the three theater war, or jobs or gays only Fast and Furious 24/7 until the republican was impeached or the AG resigned or the whole administration was so compromised it rolled to a full stop amid non-stop congressional hearings and left-wing media frenzy. In this case not so much.

Gunwalker: Smoking Gun Email?An internal ATF email seems to support the assertion that Fast and Furious was a PR stunt for gun control.
PJM’s Bob Owens has long speculated that the primary reason for Operation Fast and Furious was to perpetuate the lie that 90 percent of illegal firearms in Mexico were from the United States.
Owens’ assertion was buoyed on Wednesday by internal ATF emails obtained by Townhall.com. One email reads:
"Can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same FfL and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks Mark R. Chait Assistant Director Field Operations."

Cummings even thinks Newell is evasive.

I watched alittle of it. Had enough when Issa asked him if he was letting guns walk. Either he or the whistleblowers were lying. And Newell said we didn’t let the guns walk.
I loved Issa’s response. “You are intitled to your opinion, not to facts”
IMO, the Supervisors involved in this dangerous plan should be charge with the crime of gunrunning. I would like to know what incompetent boob thought this up?

His definition of gun walking is to give a fake gun to a criminal and let him walk. His rationalization was since the guns were real it wasn’t gun walking.
