Boehner did a good job. I know it’s not fashionable here to speak well of Charles Krauthammer but he did nail it - Obama’s speech was so “yesterday”, has nothing to do with the state of things today. Just a repetition of the same old tested “balanced approach” line that he thinks will impress the independents. Same old BS from Obama, and if this is the best he can do, it just shows how bankrupt this Presidency really is.
Castigating Harry Reid’s “cuts only” approach is just icing on the cake.

i wish he would’ve hit the stimuloss harder and remind everyone the clown in the WH who now wants a raise in the debt ceiling promised 8% unemployment for the $1trillion spent on the stimuloss...

Yes, he did. Actually, CK has been voicing some real disgust for The One pretty often lately in his inimitable, articulate style. Maybe he’s having a rebirth - he even called out the host last week (of PBS’ Inside Washington where he’s a panelist) for bias regarding the Tea Party:

Charles sometimes disappoints me and I don’t always agree with him, but other times - man, he’s still great :-)

I did listen to the Speaker, I thought he did a good job of nailing this right back on the President.
Every Pubbie who gets on the TV news or radio should start off by saying how irresponsible this Administration is for constantly talking about “default” when he knows very well that we have enough money each month to service the debt, and pay all major entitlements.
