Even though Ayers never mentions Bachmann by name, it’s clear she’s the primary object of his statements.

In 2008 there were 2 SENATORS running. Most people who here the phrase "member of Congress" do not equate that with a member of the Senate. So of course he is talking about Bachmann.

I'm not terribly enamored of her, but I am tiring of the attacks on her. I have nothing against her, I just think she should stay where she is for a bit longer, she is still a young woman. If she is the nominee, there is no question I will be voting for her.

Timmy’s camp smeared his rival Sullivan with gay-association’ crap during the state convention for the gubinatorial nomination. Timmy likes to play nasty politics. Too bad his tired old working-class-boy-who-plays-hockey schtick won’t resonate with the rest of America; they’ll just see a weenie.

The point is, I believe, true -- Bachmann will draw support, but ultimately voters will settle on a candidate who has previously been elected statewide.

Whether they end up settling on Pawlenty, well, it's possible but he'll have to show more than he has so far.
