This is all smoke and mirrors. The “spending cuts” will be backended like crazy. We’ll all be dead by the time they are supposed to take effect.
Bohner is bringing back Cut, Cap and Balance. State houses should start holding some sort of pre vote, how they will vote if Balanced Budget Amendment passes the Senate. We got a lot of Republican Governors and control of state houses. We need to push this thing.

No budget has been passed, so allow no spending except for current obligations.

Reid can’t hold his majority - so he is conceding just enough to get Beohner to bite. But if/when push comes to shove and the Senate votes, our side will have the majority.

That will be in next year's budget. AFTER a bill is passed as to what is funded in the event of a shutdown.

Then it is kind of sneaky for Reid to say he is offering 2.5 trillion in cuts with no new taxes. Hell, the new taxes are already baked into the cake.
