There will be many important Senate votes before next November..At the very least, this will pressure her to vote the right way...

I see the article answers my question about the Republican governor (will campaign for Snowe). But anyone from Maine have a take on the chances of Snowe’s primary challengers.

She is a RINO. We could call her worse. She is a democrat.

Oh, Pine Tree State,
Your woods, fields and hills,
Your lakes, streams and rock bound coast
Will ever fill our hearts with thrills,
And tho' we seek far and wide
Our search will be in vain,
To find a fairer spot on earth
Than Maine! Maine! Maine!

I support a balanced budget amendment which only makes exception for military expenditures in Congressional declared states of war.
Furthermore the same amendment must specify that Congress may not declare a State of war to continue for longer then 1 year at a time.(Thus war decelerations must be renewed annually)
Exception being foreign forces occupying one of the united States and prohibiting congress from meeting at all in a year.

I’m disappointed to hear LePage is backing SnoweJob.
I plan to send money to DAmboise anyway. We have to get these political cross-dressers out of the party.

Get your damn snout out of the trough, Olympia; and give someone else a chance to represent the people of Maine. Term limits...an idea whose time has come.

The mere fact that she compromises with dems on budget matters(by her own admission)is proof positive that she is a RINO.
As to her whining about out of staters weighing in on her election; you votes, Olympia darling, affect everyone in the entire country.

Snowe is one of the “Republicans” who voted along with the Democrats to sodomize the US military through repeal of DADT.
That sick scumbag has got to go.
To: Principled
Wasnt she the RINO who could have kept obamacare off the Senate floor?
I believe so. She voted in committee or something to let it go to a floor vote, knowing full well the dems had the votes. Anyone running against her should hire skywriters to criss-cross Maine with banners saying "Olympia Gave You Obamacare".

The people of Maine are in a firing mood and she is next. Many others in the Senate will fall as well. Looking quite forward to it.

I hope you’re right. This skank is a stain on the Senate. She needs to be booted out.

She and Orrin Hatch can get together and go bowling when they’re both ousted in the next election.

RINO Snowe is safe in Maine. Far, far too many moonbats up here. I would never vote for her but she is about as close to a lock as there is.

I will not vote for her. If she survives a primary (I’m sure she will) I will leave the box unchecked in 2012.
To: mdittmar
Snowe said vote after vote in both the House and Senate has proven her fiscal conservatism. She said too often, her willingness to work with Democrats to draft a compromise budget has been distorted as being soft on fiscal issues. She's gonna need to show the voters of Maine some facts about her fiscal conservatism, and what she's actually DONE to enact it. In the last two decades, all we've seen is her willingness to compromise with the Dems, which has resulted in the fiscal problems we have today.

I dunno if she is any kind of conservative, she votes with the marxists all the time so worse than a Rino socialist for sure.
