Wow. I said it the other day and I say it again. What in the world is come over Charles Krauthammer? Some of you guys said he sees the "writing on the wall". Maybe. However, this is the 3rd time in the last few days that I've counted where he's made some really refreshing commentary.
First he says Gov. Sarah Palin has a good chance of winning the Presidental election & he didn't diss her. Then, he slammed Obama for "summoning" the Speaker of the House to the White House and schooled Obama that the three branches of government are EQUAL. Now, he seems to take a stand for the Tea Party against a liberal PBS host' bias questioning.
Maybe he's even joined; tried to mouth the DC talking points; gotten completely PWN3D; and then started to adjust his thinking.

I saw him on Fox last week, can’t remember the specifics, but I think it was him NOT bashing Michele Bachmann and I was surprised. If this is the new and improved Krauthammer, not bashing conservatives especially female conservatives, I welcome it. I’m not ready to sing Kumbaya with him yet, though, lol. We’ll see.
Maybe he’s finally grown a pair. If he keeps this up I might actually start respecting him again

The Kraut’s been getting in a lot of digs lately on that show, on which he’s the only non-kool-aid sipping lib. He’s very quick and was supreme on this one .. worth watching.
Her laugh was so phony, like she wasn’t laughing about a funny line (which it wasn’t) but in glee that the evil FOX was getting a dig—as if FOX is the only news organization with, you know, an owner.
Damn, every time I see her, I get the image of Lily Tomlin’s phone operator stuck in my mind. Nina Totenberg really does look like someone who sucks lemons.

The Community Organizer and Constitutional Scholar has such a deep mind that he has threatened to veto a proposed constitutional amendment before it is sent to the 57 states for ratification.Now, he seems to take a stand for the Tea Party against a liberal PBS host' bias questioning ...

Good grief. You’re missing the whole point. What you say is your opinion and you may be right. The point is that at least he’s not turning on and dissing conservatives. Even if it seems to you that he’s wasting his breath on schooling Obama, at least he’s speaking out and criticizing the idiot. Again, he’s taking a stand and not just sitting there letting the liberals get away with out challenging them or pressing back.

NO, you are missing the point. As much as I and most conservatives admire and respect Charles Krauthammer, he has been a reluctant and inconsistant supporter of hard core Tea Party Conservatives. He has consistantly supported the establishment RINO republicans.

Darn it, no they aren't.
Congress can impeach and remove from office any executive official or judge, giving it in the final analysis ultimate control over the executive and judicial branches. Congress also can defund any executive action or agency and can limit the jurisdiction of federal judges.
Meanwhile the executive and judicial branches have no real powers usable against Congress, unlike the British system for example, where the executive can call new elections at any time.
Maybe Kraut has finally joined the party. Tea Party that is.
