Edwards' mistress files motion in sex tape case

HILLSBOROUGH - Attorneys for John Edwards' former mistress have filed a motion charging contempt of court against a former campaign aide and his wife, saying the couple provided off-limits information to federal prosecutors pursuing criminal charges against Edwards.
Citing a hearing in a Greensboro courtroom last week in a separate criminal case involving Edwards, Rielle Hunter's attorneys contend that Andrew and Cheri Young or their legal team have turned over thousands of pages of material from her lawsuit against them. Further, they say Hunter was never notified of the disclosures.
"The court had emphatically warned them to strictly comply with its orders, and they repeatedly assured the court that they had and were continuing to comply," according to Hunter's motion, filed Wednesday in Hillsborough.
James Cooney, one of Edwards' attorneys, said during a hearing in the criminal case last week that about 10,000 documents from the civil case had been handed over to prosecutors, including a lengthy deposition Edwards gave in February in the civil lawsuit. The civil case stems from Hunter's allegations that the Youngs have personal items that belong to her. The items include a purported sex tape featuring Edwards.

Doing it for the children!!!!
Edwards and Hunter are despicable examples of people who should never become parents.
I read Young’s book and I found his story crebidible. Odd situation, stupid that he let himself get sucked into old Sily’s messy life...but pretty credible.
This loon, Ms. Hunter, has been a scammer/sleazebag/psycho since she was very young. Nothing new hear. She is probably just trying to stir up interest to get a reality tv show or book deal.
That poor, poor little girl.
I hear there are two tapes - one for each America.
Good. Keep reminding us of what trash Democrats are, especially the ones who most loudly proclaim their “values.”
Just a reminder: Opie is definitely going to prison.
BEST POST OF THE WEEK
Why doesn’t Brian Ross buttonhole jon F’n Cary to ask his opinion on this ?
no doubt that she’s offended and even outraged.
Most federal grand jury subpoenas prohibit disclosure. She and her attorneys are playing a dangerous game that could well backfire if they try to drag the federal prosecutors into this.
“I hear there are two tapes - one for each America.”
LOL! That one-liner is hilarious enough for Leno’s monologue!
And maybe a little bit deeply saddened.
Even a worse person with a worse lawsuit: Howie, the ANS whatever. I cannot believe what I just heard: he is continuing his case for the Marshall estate!? Hope I heard wrong.
