In an unusual display of emotion, President Obama angrily responded to House Speaker John A. Boehner's abrupt withdrawal from talks on a debt ceiling increase, and summoned congressional leaders to the White House on Saturday for emergency talks to plot a new course before the Aug. 2 deadline.

Should have read, “[Obama]was “simply not serious about ending the spending binge that is destroying jobs and endangering our children’s future.”
The divorce begins.
Evidently “revenue” is the new Orwellian duckspeak for “taxes.”
NO MORE TAXES, Mr. Commie Muslim.
Notice that whenever the Dick Obama campaign invents some new NEWSSPEAK term, his scumbag media allies dutifully run with it in all their stories?
As of a few weeks ago, "new revenues" is the modern term for "tax increases."
0bama wants to eat your children’s seed corn at White Hut weekend party.
Don’t go to the White House, fellows. Stay away from Obama, as he has no intention of getting control of run-away spending.
But if you insist on going, take along another proposed economic bill. This time with much bigger budget cuts and no debt ceiling extension. Tell BHO2 this is what you’ll vote on Monday.
I don’t believe Obama would resign right then and there, but his head just might explode. If he keeps on getting up and running from the room, that action will define his whole time in office - he’s a quitter!
Boehner should not go to any WH “negotiation”. He works for the people, not Obama; her is responsible to the people, not Obama; the plans to be made are for the people, not Obama.
Boehner should tell Obama that the only people he, Obama, needs to talk to are the Democrats in the Senate.
Obama needs to negotiate with them over what they - Obama and the Senate Democrats - are going to compromise on with the House GOP.
Once Obama does that, Beohner and Reid can begin to actually negotiate.
The rest, all the “meetings” at the WH are just more of Obama’s use of media opportunities to APPEAR to be doing something important. Meanwhile, he leaves not one scintilla of detail in evidence; because he IS NOT “negotiating”, he has no details, he’s just posturing.
“This was an extraordinarily fair deal. If it was unbalanced, it was unbalanced in the direction of not enough revenue,” Obama said. “It is hard to understand why Speaker Boehner would walk away from this kind of deal.”
Now that last sentence is a mind blower to top all mind blowers! I’m surprised that he could mouth the words without busting out laughing and that Boehner didn’t throw it back in his face when he came out later.....
Is this guy in a coma most of the day? By “this guy”, of course I’m referring to the bozo! Wonder who gets him out of bed every morning!!

I can tell you where Leadership is NOT!! ---

You are absolutely correct!
“”but his head just might explode””
How many of us wouldn’t sleep next to our TV’s to see that take place?
Obama could care less about debt reduction/ debt limits / deficits....it’s all about punishing success, raising taxers, and redistributing wealth.
He has already announced he will be there tomorrow.
Which is weird in that he just walked out.
I guess now it's about buying time to solidify and read the polls.
But don't think for a minute that the GOP leadership is serious about cutting spending either. They would gladly settle for a political promise in exchange for the $800bil Boner announced he already agreed to.
"Revenue increases" my a$$.
“”As of a few weeks ago, “new revenues” is the modern term for “tax increases.””
Well, we were getting pretty tired of “expenditures” being called “investments in the future” so we can go along with this phrase for awhile, I guess.
Can a FREEPER in DC get life size cardboard images of Boehner and McConnel and bring them tomorrow morning to the White House gate?
That is all Zero does. He is pure BS. He cannot dazzle the public with the specifics of the deal or his brilliance so he baffles the media with his BS.

| I agree Mr. Wright. Usually when a President's party gets an election reaming, as id did in 2010, the President moves to the middle. Zer0, who fancies himself a king, is pedal-to-the-metal for the cliff. Conservatives should call a press conference three times a day exposing the fraudulent behavior of the rats. Do what's right. The country is depending on you. Take Barack Jackwagon Marx to the woodshed in 2012. Refuse to raise the debt ceiling! Now's the time to have some big, brass, clanging baiis. Please. Countdown until Obama leaves Office: 547 days as of July 22, 2011. |
