When the spanish-language television network Univision put out a shameful hit piece out on Republican Senator Marco Rubio several weeks back, only one Hispanic organization provided cover for Univision, and that was the upstart organization Somos Republicans. This group openly states that they are a Republican group, but they have raised flags amongst conservative groups with their over the top pro-amnesty rhetoric and shameless attacks on conservative hispanic leaders like Rubio and U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz.
What is so blatantly obvious about this organizations tactics is the fact that any hispanic politician who does not tow their amnesty line immediately is singled out as a traitor. Somos Republicans own publication for anyone that actually reads it- only deals with one issue, and that is immigration reform, and no other issues matter to this group- regardless if youre pro-life, support low taxes, limited government, or the 2nd amendment- issues that the group identifies as its core principles dont matter at all if oppose their amnesty position- hypocrisy at its finest

“tow [sic] their amnesty line immediately....”
The expression is “toe the line”.
They seem to like Rick Perry just fine.
I didn’t write the article, don’t get on my case!
SO they are like “Log Cabin Republicans” in a way
“Somos Republicans” no sabe suficiente Ingles.
Si vienen aqui contra la ley no son listos en cualquier caso.
Cerca de Atlanta se dice “that’s why they call it dope”
...they have raised flags amongst conservative groups with their over the top pro-amnesty rhetoric and shameless attacks on conservative hispanic leaders like Rubio and U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz.
Figures
Contact the RNC----tell them we will not tolerate hyphenated Republicans in our party. Either they are American or they are not. Another Hispanic group is using the same ruse---they call themselves Arizona Hispanic Republicans.

2005 Houston Chronicle pic depicting Perry as an advocate for
"affordable housing," and "lending law reform" (read sub-prime defaults).
(Some of Perry's choices for WH jobs?)
REFERENCE Federal government grants to ACORN---2003-2006
I guess Perry knew all about these (/snix):
<><> Dept of Housing and Urban Development: $8.2 million between 2003 and 2006; $1.6 million to ACORN affiliates.
<><> EPA $100,000 grant to ACORN in 2004 for a Louisiana Justice Project, which removed lead from the homes of low income families.
<><> Justice Dept grant in 2005 for a juvenile delinquency program.
===================================
According to later research, 40% of ACORN's operations were found to be funded through numerous grants it receives from various governmental entities. ACORN also receives funding from a variety of tax-exempt private charitable organizations: the Bauman Family Foundation, George Soros' Open Society Institute, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and from corporate foundations, including JP Morgan Chase Foundation, Ben & Jerry's foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation, and Citigroup, as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and tax-exempt foundations affiliated with the founder of UPS.
=======================================
Senate Finance Committee Study (led by Sen Charles Grassley)
ACORN comprises a mind-boggling 94 different affiliates, that amounts to "a big shell game," a biting Senate Finance Committee study shows.
The study, by the staff of Sen Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), reveals four ACORN charity groups give more than half their revenue to taxable entities that engage in "impermissible lobbying and political activity."
ACORN and its subsidiaries for decades have moved taxpayer money into their own pockets and into the left-wing Marxist machine.
Sen Charles Grassley's documents show leaders of ACORN community groups transferred several million dollars in charitable and government money-----meant for the poor---- to parts of the group that have political (and sometimes profit-making) missions.
Sen Grassley's documents indicate that ACORN's tax-exempt groups----along with its tangled web of allied organizations---- used more than half their charitable and public money in 2006 to pay other ACORN affiliates.
ACORN also appears to have been involved in improper use of pension funds ..... some of the founder Rathke's embezzlment was apparently taken from the pension fund using ACORN's American Express card.
This displacement of funding led to the creation of a complex repayment system in which accused embezzler Dale Rathke owed ACORN, and ACORN in turn, owed ABA, which, for its part, wrote off part of the money. (Excerpt) Read more at spectator.org ........

Perry endorsed 2008 prez candidate Rudy Giuliani (RINO ex-Dem who is persona non grata on FR).
Just do a quick search of Rick Perry and La Raza. He was pandering (giving speeches) to them as little as a year ago. Maybe even more recently than that.
I prefer they got the hell out.
Geez
Ping!
When you go to their ABOUT US page it reads like a Tea Party Platform. But then, when you click for more info regarding their ... (drum roll) ....VISION STATEMENT, the mask comes off.
There they reveal themselves as nothing more than another; Open Border -- Amnesty For All -- LaRaza loving -- bunch of McInsane-Graham-Rove, type of 'jerkweeds'.
Are they so irrational and merely a self-centered group revolutionary geezers that do not hold American ideal and thus attack our American valuesIt's us 'irrational old geezers' who want to RESTORE the American ideal and PROTECT American values.
Plus their Grammar sucks. They should know that Babel Fish translations aren't perfect :-)
